I liked Janes Addiction but Farrell’s comments about the Sex Pistols always bothered me, they did what he wanted to do over a decade before JA did anything. One brilliant album and they changed music, JA did three good albums between 87 and 91 which added to the American alt rock scene which was already underway. The Pistols are a pivotal point in rock music, JA are more of a footnote.
I loved the Ritz and Roseland! This was the golden Era of NYC club shows! SG played NY shows a lot more often back then. I'm pretty sure I have seen some interviews where the band didn't like like the crowd vibes
I cant believe this has been available for several YEARS and im just now seeing this. I did break from anything CC after his death because it hurt too much to hear his voice. I greived for him as if I lost a best friend 😢 RIP Chris, you are so loved and missed ❤
And really sad 😔 that mick Mars is no longer in motley crue, he did a solo record and sounds amazing. He's proving that he still can play guitar 🎸 and kick ass .we love you mick Mars and you'll will always be motley crue to us forever and always 🤘💯

At about 19:00, Todd speaks to an interesting point about this band, due to their evolution of styles. I was one of those there from the beginning, so my favorite Utopia goes up through RA. People who took an interest with the later stuff don’t always appreciate the prog and Mahavishnu lite stuff.
