@@thewalkingpops I lived in Chorlton Cum Hardy, back in the 70's loved living there, so any walks in and around there would interest me. I fogot how leafy and green everythng is ,I live in NZ now.
Chorlton Cum Hardy is one of my favorite spots to visit in Manchester. I’m not entirely sure what it looked like back in the 1970s, but it remains a wonderful place to live and explore. Liverpool has fallen, It's no longer a beautiful city or town centre just look at London road full of immigrants , wavertree is awash with immigration and the streets are disgusting full of rubbish,not safe walking around.

Hi Mark, Manchester has some of the highest levels of homelessness in the UK. Hope the people of Manchester and the local authorities will work together to tackle this. It is really sad.
I saw people swimming although water did not look clean. However, it looked not safe to me tbh. Sandy, part of the beach ⛱️ is gorgeous to relax and have a picnic on a sunny day, though.
YOU CAN JUST SEE IT REFLECTED IN THE PEOPLE'S FACES ....HOW HAPPY THEY ARE TO BE SCOUSERS ...TO BE LIVING....
