I thought the same as others are saying, no mating taking place. The girl is more than ready but maybe the male is younger and ain't got the hang of it yet. I hope it is successful. I know these parrots are extremely rare. Besides they got the coolest mohawk hairdo. 😎
The Moluccan you see in the video I have seen birth over 7 years, if the parents do not spin the eggs in the first 20 days it is very difficult for the babies to come out in a machine. you will never find eggs for sale i'm sure .. they are not chickens ..
Hi parrot house, room temperature is 23-25 ‘c, I added a heating mat under the wood nest box. Inside the nest the bottom temperature measured 30’c, is that ok. Can you let me know What the ideal temperature set up is better form them.
Hi parrot house I use thermostat keep heating mat at 35’c. Yes it will be easier for the african grey parrot increase to 37.5’c by her body temperature. This maybe more safe. Sometime heating mat + thermostat can not be trustworthy controlled well, thank you.!!!
Hi parrot house, why my african grey a female after hatching eggs over 2 weeks then one day got out of nest over 30 minutes, eggs are warm like 37'c, is there anything unusual?
@@George-Mylonakis thank you, I never think this way. I just feel room temperature around 25'c is good enough for them. I really need put a thermo mat asap.😀
I need someone who is decent at math to help me! Mazuri recommends feeding their low iron pellet formula as 70% of the daily diet, with fruits + veggies making up the remaining 30%. If you’re feeding a 12 oz bird 1/2 cup of pellets a day, then what cup amount should the veggies/fruits be? To make it 70/30
Good morning I for 20 years always have a bowl of pellets now I have found the excellent food ,, ,,, LOR linea unibird large fruit eating birds low iron formula. A bowl of clean water ,,, and a bowl that I give only fruit every day as in the video with 70% -80% papaya I add to the fruit LOR PROTTOTI linea unibirds unifeed.
