Hello, although the instrument model is the same, but due to different brands of ebike use different parameter settings, so we can not provide a common parameter setting programme. But setting the maximum speed and speed unit is supportable for you to customise the setting. And our suggestion is that you should not change the settings except these two items, because the wrong parameters will cause the ebike to malfunction.
Set the 08P page to 45, press "i" key to confirm and save after successful setting, then restart the instrument. But it should be noted that different ebikes may use the same meter, but the premise of switching to a higher speed is that the ebike itself needs to support switching to 45km/h, or else forcing the setting of too high a parameter will lead to the destruction of the controller or motor overload.

Yes, you can, you can switch the top speed by way of decoding the controller. But as you say, once switched you cannot use it for European road commuting use. It can only be used for recreational use on non-public roads or private areas. To be honest, it's not a professional off-road bike, so the off-road capability is average and cannot be used for cyclocross, but it's more than enough for daily commuting.

There are two steps to achieve this: Step 1: Limit the maximum speed to 25km/h Step 2: When using the electronic power assist function (5 levels in total, you can raise and lower the level with the "+" / "-" buttons), the power assist level is set to level 3. If you still feel the power is too strong, you can set it to level 1 or 2.

I reckon any volume is too loud on instructional vids (not just yours!). Thanks for a very useful tutorial though. I find BGM distracting and irrelevant @@ceayabikes
From the description, it is possible that one of the following three accessories may be at fault: 1. gauge problem, 2. controller problem, 3. battery problem. You can check to see if the meter is displaying a fault code. This will allow you to troubleshoot the problem based on the fault code.
This should require programming and theoretically would need to come back and edit the controller to meter protocol. We don't work on controllers or meters, so I'm sorry we can't be of more help on this one.

The S2 instrument is a universal instrument but the exact parameters set when used on different ebikes may be different, it is recommended that you consult your dealer for the original factory set parameters.
