This is a beautiful area to visit. Fredericksburg is not far away. You have Buchanan lake Inks lake Marble Falls is beautiful especially at Christmas Lots of bed and breakfast Luchenbach is down the road from Fredericksburg LBJ RANCH . There is a loop you can go on in between Fredericksburg and Llano. You could spend weeks in this entire area. There is also New Bransfels and Greene .

Pedernales used to be one of those 'cool little secrets' Been twice in the last 3 years. Can't say I'll be going back. Farr too crowded now. Oh well, I went when it wasn't all that.
