I thought the same about Louie CK. Joe always liked Louie, and said after the drama that he'll have him on, and he's spoken to Louie since, yet Louie has never been on the JRE. It probably has a lot to do with both sides working it out. He might be on a busy schedule, not living close enough, etc.
Might not fit with his promotion, he has a fairly family friendly image, maybe kicking back smoking weed and talking shit on a free form podcast is a big no no for him.
