I am enthralled with aquatic plants, fish and amphibians. I even enjoy a reptile or two. Together with the #FishFam, we can support, educate and encourage each other.
Come join me on my journey through this amazing aquatic world using videos, live chats and the support of the entire #FishFam. Since I am new to the hobby, you will see all my trials, successes and struggles. I will share what I am learning and how I am applying it to the fish keeping hobby. I am a member of the #FishFam and I love the way we educate and support each other. I offer support and encouragement to keep growing. I know how frustrating it can be and how easy it is to give up on the hobby. Together we can support each other by sharing our experiences and knowledge in a gentle caring manner in order to keep the fish hobby growing.
Feel free to comment anything you would like to see in my fish room, thanks for watching!
I had rummy nose tetras years before I knew what their species name was but I always knew they were a species of tetra and I never had problems with them dyin’ easy but I also didn’t do a whole lot of water changes and when I did it was only 1/3 of the water but that was mostly from laziness not because I knew what they needed💀😂
The regular neon tetra or standard neon tetra is what the average person who’s not knowledgeable about aquariums thinks of immediately when they think of freshwater tropical fish💯
I bet there’s one thing you didn’t know about black neon tetras They glow fluorescent green under a black light I stumbled on that one myself If pet stores knew they’d be chargin’ just as much money for black neons as they do for those genetically modified abominations they call Glo Fish💯💀
I have my baby betta girl in a 2 1/2 right now until she gets big enough for the sorority tank….I have three juvenile girls in there now along with 5 neons (getting more neons).
Oh wow.....Rummy nose Tetra is very hardy for me but other fish seem to not make it. I live where there is very hard water, I keep them in a planted tank, not too big. Perhaps you live where there is soft water and that's the difference. I have them with balloon mollies, mono shrimp and snails. I don't know....go figure.
So I have a betta fish And I used tap water and my pH is around 7.8, GH was 14% in KH was 6. How can I bring my GH down and my pH down? I do have a little bit of Fritz's dark water which is almond leaves extract in the water but not much. Should I add more or should I do a 30% water change and add reverse osmosis water back in maybe?
Hi Suzy, your video popped up today, I’m watching again. I have made a few baskets, 4 water lily protectors, a long poolside hyacinth float. I liked seeing you giant pennywort. I have some in the bog. Was going to toss them. But can add to a basket. It’s been getting hotter here south LA already. I need to vacuum the pool so badly. Just putting it off with humidity & mosquitoes. I need to move the lily/ net protectors to fertilize and rearrange things. I hope you are doing well ! Cindy
I really love this video, i didn't know Embers stayed small, i currently raise Class P endlers but im wanting to get a 6 gallon corner tank and Ive been looking into suggestions on stocking. But alot of folks use the same 5 fish 😂 this was a breath of fresh air!
No buildings have underground parking since 2001 when fires caused the destruction of two skyscrapers . Any source of fire was outlawed so that steel and concrete structures wouldn’t collapse killing thousands
*Infinite Flight Guy. With 7 Goldies the pleco is not getting enough food. Goldfish root the substrate and clean up anything the pleco might have eaten. Pleco chases the others to try and eat their slime coats. Need a larger tank and more sinking food
