Never noticed it and watched this video 10,000 times but it's awesome how CJ McCollum at 2:45 tells his teammates to not go wild and celebrate but to get in the handshake line immediately. Also always wondered how he ended up at Lehigh and not a much better school given how well he translated to the league.
That VCU foul against Steven F. Austin at 6:15 was such an incredibly stupid foul. You're up by 4 with seconds left. The shooter can't make a 4 point shot no matter how hard he tries. If he makes it, it's your ball with like 3 seconds left and it's going to take at least a half second to foul. Even if you miss both foul shots the odds of driving up the court even for a hail Mary is remote and if they make that you're not meant to win anyhoo. And that Carolina/Villanova final was the greatest game I ever saw.
I attended the Loyola Chicago game against Miami and Tennessee that year. Both played in my hometown, and the amount of energy I wasted by just sitting on the Loyola Chicago game, just phenomenal.
That Koenig corner 3 to beat Xavier was absolutely nuts, I remember watching that one live🔥 Craziest thing was he SAID he knew it was good BEFORE he even took the shot
The video is called buzzer beaters and upsets. Meaning we should see the end of the game when the upset is official. Also some of the clips weren't upsets or buzzer beaters
Was a student at SFA when they made that comeback against VCU. Was my favorite college basketball moment ever… until we beat Duke at the buzzer in 2019 😉 Axe ‘em, Jacks 💜
This was some pretty phenomenal ball! The ice in this kids’ veins. Amazing! I could watch this over and over. As a silly thing I loved when they showed the score of #15 Midd Tenn St vs #2 Mich State at MTS 15 MSU 2. This shows why March Madness is the most exciting playoff/tournament in all sports!
10:34 I’m from the town that Northern Iowa’s in. We went from miracle shot to opposite team’s miracle comeback in back to back games. What a crazy ride that was. We rarely ever make the tournament too.
