I have camped at Moffitt Beach for many years! As a child I learned to walk, while camping at site 122 (over 70 years ago),,, That wasn't the number back then... But I have camped at many of the sites, and Love the Place!!! This Video will be very helpful to people planning a visit to a Great Campground!!!!
Campsite #14 is nice - large, private and plenty of room for tent camping. A pop up tent trailer may fit in the parking area (depending on the size) but you would not have any room for the towing vehicle. The parking spaces for the tent sites (like #14) are pretty small.
Yes - pictures were taken last year. They decided not to rebuild the old (oceanfront) campsites - so there are just 4 'single family' tent sites and 2 group sites (tents). It's about 500 feet from the parking area to the campsites.

I used to do a lot of fishing at Dixon lake in the early 80s. The only thing I didn’t like too much is the trout are stocked, not natural trout. But it’s a nice place to fish.
@danvango 0 seconds ago I absolutely love this area. but be warned a lot of Homeless here for the free showers. , lock up your coolers and anything of value. be careful if You leave the Park. I was picking Blackberries by the side of The Road and The Neighbors told Me to get off their Land and went back to get a gun. (I was 5 ft from the Road.) After talking to The Ranger, He told Me it's a bad area. The People in the area are very paranoid. and there was a huge drug bust. so be careful roaming out of the park.
