I'm your typical car enthusiast who happens to be a proud owner of a 2016 Dodge Challenger RT 392 Hemi Scat pack. I make videos related to my car that offer advice, how to's, and product reviews. New videos will be posted as soon as I have more content available. Subscribe if you enjoy the content! Subscribe if you just love the Dodge Challenger! It’s incredible that they didn’t left some easier way to access the fog lights…. Some kind of opening with cover under the lip spoiler or something… unbelievable. I have 2022 rt and my factory fog lights are useless…
So much nicer! I have a 23 Blacktop R/T and I'm replacing all the badging with chrome script and the red and chrome R/T badges. I changed to chrome rims and chrome filler port and door.
Just got my samples shipped and was about to apply them and thought "Oh shit, is this even legal?" Just checked and luckily it does abide by my state and local laws, so here I go lol. Great video, man
My 2017 Scat Pack Shaker Challenger with the Dynamics package came with 275s and various upgrades from the factory. Spent a lot of time researching before I spotted that option.
@billhamilton7524 No I didn't have to get new wheels. They are the stock rims. I didn't burn up the old tires because I didn't want to abuse the car. Also, I didn't want to remove burnt rubber from the car. Haha.
Hey I know this video was posted three years ago and so I’m wondering if the lights are still lasting or flickering now or still hold up as when you put them on?
Yeah, thats another concern. Seems like a lot of Mopar owners have done the mid-muffler delete without problems, but may be more of a long term concern. I probably wont do it😝
Sounds nice and throaty!! I was going to just do a mid-muffler delete on my Scat, as its much cheaper. But heard just enough pushback on the net about warranty voiding that I am skittish.....sounds like dealers SHOULDN'T push back on honoring the warranty, but it could be an excuse for them to not honor it.
Old time hot rodder here and guess what? I watched the whole vid and not one dyno test? For all you know the car lost HP. Not to worry tho... if you lost too much Hp you can get it back by simply wearing your cap backwards and putting neon lights in the wheel wells! Just turning up the stereo with your favorite rap music adds 10 HP! I like Borla's so was hoping to see a serious review of em.
Sweet car you got there. My son just got his 13’ black top edition which has 20x9 wheels. It currently has 275/40R20 in the back and 245/45R20 in the front. He likes this stagger and width but wants a little meatier side wall. These are 28” tall tires and was trying to find info on putting a 29” tall tire under this car but can’t find any info because everyone seems to be doing the low profile tires these days. Do you know if they would fit without rubbing? Thanks for any info. 👍
It definitely looks better with the blacked out pieces. My all-black Nissan 370z sport came with forged aluminum wheels that were painted gloss black with bright metal machined face spokes and chrome lug nuts. I replaced the wheels with a set of forged magnesium wheels that were painted all gloss black. I then got some black anodized aluminum lug nuts, so that the whole wheel is gloss black, to match the rest of the car. The very large brake calipers are painted a cherry gloss red and they really pop out now, for an immense improvement in the appearance. Attention to small details like lugs and wheel caps can make a big difference. One suggestion I have that you might employ to reduce marring of your lug nuts when they're removed and installed is to take a thin plastic sheet garbage bag liner to cover the lugs when you insert the socket.
From Borla website for #140677. This system contains Active Valve SIMULATORS (click for more information) Valve SIMULATORS are built into this BORLA® system, which ELIMINATE the MDS Valves. The valve actuators will be transferred from your O.E. exhaust to a bracket on the BORLA® exhaust. This avoids warning lights on the dash and provides maximum flow. The one I have lets me use the O.E.M MDS valves. I can manually open the valves when in Sport mode, just like the stock exhaust works.
If you are talking about the plastic plugs that secure the wheel well to the car, they will need to be replaced with new ones. The stock plugs will be damaged once removed. The new plugs will be easy to insert.
Are your rear wheels 20x8 or 20x9?. I got a set of brand new 275/40/20's sitting in the garage, but my 2011 came with 20x8 wheels and I hear that you can't go wider than a 265 tire.
Thank you for making this video. I broke a piece off and was going to continue until I saw this video and worked as you said. I had three rivets but I did the two holes and I was able to pull it off from there.
Thanks. I've been busy during the car show season. I have more videos coming. I will post them once things slow down. Thanks for watching and keep checking back.
@revvdup8526 I'm not saying about mods....all I'm saying is how to remove the plastic rocker panels that the car comes with....because i want to repaint them and then put them back on.....u had to remove the ones the car came with to put those new ones....how did you remove them
@@imwaytogoodlookingtobeyour1188 I understand what you are asking. If you watched my video, you won't see me removing rocker panels or pieces from the back bumper. I wish I could help you, but I can't.
I'm not sure? Don't see why it would? It's an improvement over what is already there. Air intakes are a common upgrade. Some Challenger's already come with them. No tuning is needed so I can't see why this would affect the warranty.
