What a fantastic and very helpful video! Ive had a gpu failure twice on my mid2010 27" iMac!!! Im very disappointed because there aren't any gpu boards available to replace! and of course i do not want to chuck it to the trash, its an iconic machine that has served me well all these years! What would you say that are my options?
Oh dear 🙄, I wish I had seen this video much earlier. The HDD was turning but after a few seconds it made a sound like "fiew". I opened it and damaged the mechanism but not the platters themselves. Now I have an HDD that is opened for half a year and I didn't know what to do with it. Now it is full of dust and dirt (greas that comes on it). I have a second identical HDD that is working fine. Can I put the platters in the working housing of the second drive? (after saving everyting that is on the 2nd drive) Technically yes. But how can I clean the platters of the broken one? Any sugestions?
Hi, thanks for your video. I have an LG DLEX3700V dryer that's giving me the error code TE1. I looked it up online and found that it might be a bad thermistor. I ordered a new one (model 6323EL2001B) and replaced it. I measured the resistance of the old one, which was about 8K ohms, and the new one reads around 10.8K ohms. From what I found online, the normal range should be around 11K ohms, so I think the new thermistor is fine. I also tested the round thermal fuse you mentioned in your video, and it reads 0.04 ohms, which seems normal. I took apart the vent and cleaned everything, inside and out. There’s no dust or blockage near the two sensors. After reassembling everything, I double-checked all the connections to make sure they're tight. I also measured the resistance at the yellow and blue wires leading into the control board, and it shows around 10K ohms, which means the connection to the board should be fine. Once I put everything back together, I reset the dryer by holding the start button for five seconds while it was unplugged. But when I powered it back on, it ran for a few seconds and then showed the TE1 error again. I tried restarting it a few times, but the TE1 error keeps coming up. Do you think this could be a control board issue? The board is pretty expensive, so I don’t want to buy one without being sure. Could you help me figure out how to use a multimeter to test the board and what kind of readings I should be looking for to determine if the board is bad? Thanks for your time, and I really appreciate any help you can offer!
DO NOT USE THREADLOCKER! I used the blue medium threadlocker and it destroyed all the plastic posts and that’s the reason I am in this predicament. Maybe there is a plastic safe threadlockr out there, but definitely DO NOT use the loctite blue medium threadlocker on your laptop/ anything plastic.
Thanks, the plastic is indeed quite fragile. Found that one of the pin sockets is bent or broken downward. My phone's 12x zoom isn't enough to know for sure. Would be nice to have one of those microscope cameras but I'll have to eyeball it hoping its only bent. Thanks for the information!
Had exactly the same problem. Change the region of the printer from the HP Smart software printer information settings. Then register the printer again by choosing the exact region you chose in the HP smart software.
I have a staple stuck in my Macbook Air's charging port. Its bent in both sides and hard to pick up. I have tried pins, pencils and toothpicks. i am scared that I will damage the port. Any ideas on how to get it out?
Thanks. I have a 2013 and sometimes I need to buy 3 or 4 deck boards that are 16 foot long from Home Depot and transport it to my home. I currently remove my center counsel and the 2nd row middle seat to give myself an extra 2ft to slide the deck board further into my Honda to secure it between the driver and passenger seat. I am interested in buying a newer Honda and wondered if its possible to remove the center counsel so I can still transport deck boards like I used to.
You know what you're doing although you don't show us how to take out the hard drive or show us how to fix the hard drive. Which can lead a lot of people including me confused and incredibly annoyed.
That's what i am looking for. My hdd suddenly maake click sound sometimes it shows some time not. I thought i will be able to use again afert repair but a as he said don't use after open even it works now i can understand why he said so..no other video in RU-vid given this information.
Thanks for the video. I have the same problem with the battery tray bolts. You can easily remove spark plugs by removing spark plug tubes with the coil pack. This makes it much easier i just finished the valve covers and spark plugs and tubes. How did the job turn out?
I don't whether this is the same problem in my printer or not but my printer get stuck every time i remove and reprint. Have to try this and will come back after i clean it. Thanks for sharing 😊
The problem is caused by the device's outdated firmware version, which is preventing it from connecting to HP web services. To resolve this, the user should access the printer’s local web page, navigate to the System tab, then to the Administration section, and click the Check Now button under Printer Updates to initiate the update.
Interesting...... I'm back again a year later and I just paid attention to when you plugged the cable in. didn't know the cable should go in further. I thought when you hear the click your in. I'm going to look for something to get the dust out of the port. However, I wonder what the life expectancy of the battery is. I'm not sure, because this is the second MM2 I have. Thanks.
Hey Mac, I have the same exact issue looks like. I was pressure washing my metal floor board to remove some mud. My 4Runner has actually never had carpeting lol. After only 3 minutes or so of washing and 5 hours of drying my truck wouldn’t start. The lights on the dash and radio still works but engine won’t turn over. How did you know it was your ECU? Did a scanner give any codes or did it say “no response”? That’s what my scanner is saying now.
