my own bias is that, having spent months watching oppressive, overpowered guard lists completely dominate 40K thanks to maybe the worst codex GW ever wrote, i now purely love watching guardsmen being shot off of the table. feels like just revenge

Life went a bit manic towards the end of summer; I applied for another job, was then really ill, my son was then extremely ill (we're both recovered now), then started the new job in the new year, then looking for another house (which we still are)...I need to do a channel update at some point, but thank you for checking in on me. 🙏

Great game, but isn't Odd Git a medic? Would his squad be getting regenerate rolls? Edit: Medic table but specialist upgrade. It affects the morale, not the wound allocations.
Great work on the campaign. Its gotten me inspired to write a short campaign for my play group. I love building scenic terrain for our games, I think OPRs campaign rules will be a ton of fun to use and Im hopeful our games can be as fun as yours. Thank you for this series and all the work youve put in.
Thanks for doing this! And hello from the future! The latest version of the rules confirms your interpretation of morale at 32:30 is correct (a squad doesn't test morale if they destroy the opponent, even if they suffer more casualties than the destroyed unit)

The reality of life is...sometimes sh1t happens!! And its ok... feel bad for the poor guardsman lol And finally some armor! I think the HDF forces are too weak because the lack of armor and quality in those units. Now, with a Chimaera, you may change the tides of war... Great campaign! Cheers from Brazil
Hi there. I haven't done many scenery videos, although it is an area of the hobby that I really enjoy. The majority of my home made scenery is made using techniques from Wyloch's Armoury and Erik's Hobby Workshop; if you check them out, you get most of the ideas for how I did mine

Thanks. Unfortunately, at the moment, I only have 5 Custodian models, and they have been sat on my painting desk with just a basic coat of gold for about a year now. I hope to start filming some more battle reports soon but life is pretty hectic at the moment.
Thanks. Yep, they took some of it on board but the card draw mechanic never made it; I can see why, though, because I think they want to keep it a purely dice game.
I just use Bolt Action's system. You take a die for each unit, color coded for each side. Place them in a bag. At the start of each activation, draw a die from the bag without looking. The color of the die determines which side goes. Remove the die from the bag. Repeat each activation. The start of each turn when the bag is empty, replace all the dice. I haven't played solo, but one could use colored cardboard counters instead of dice. Any AI team counters could be numbered 1 to X, where X is the number of that teams units. When drawn the number on the AI's counter could be matched up to the army list to signify the AI's unit to be activated.
i use veer myn aswell its great, not very common for some reason, the models are really nice i think videos and mantics photos dont do them much justice

I've owned a Night Terror, Nightmares and the Volt Chasers for years, because my daughter liked the look of them, but I don't have the Mantic games, so I've never played with them. I've recently got into Grimdark and version 3 has just come out! So i will be bringing them to my local game store for a game later today, I'm excited. The Ratmen Clans army list doesn't quite accomadate the Volt Chasers (they have a mix of special weapons and melee that aren't represented. I went with a squad of Elite, treating the fuser's thermal blaster as a plasma rifle)
First time when i watched the video, had no idea what the mechanics of the game functioned, stayed for the narrative. Now a few weeks ago i finally wacthed a tutorial and now i understand the great and awful dice rolls that happened hahaha. Was looking to play the game, but there seems to be a lack of people who play in my zone, what would you recommend me to buy in order to play solo or start something to throw some campaign with (maybe) some sporadic other player? thanks befohand and have a great day
I have already watched this campaign this far on a single day to think of returning onto gaming tables. 😂 I old Battle buddy has recently started to build and paint his demon army, and I’ve found my old Havoc Brothers from a starter set box on top of my book shelf. 🤣 The amount of nostalgia from remembering the battles of four armies in a king of the hill free for all battleroyale are calling out for getting back to refight those battles again. 😂 Thanks for making these reports. 👍

Long time no see, have been busy and i endend up going into the MESBG community, alternating activations are really my jam and sadly one page rules is not as big as i wish here. You've inspired me to do my own solo campaign. Alien Hives, High elf Fleets, Blood Brothers and HDF! Have to paint just a few more units. Campaign theme is hunting down a Psychic disturbance caused by Alien Hive breeding ground.
