Is that the mind or the brain? It sounds like that's the brain, the mind is what we call the soul, and is the one that's conscious, it can also be called Jin because it presents and we can't see it and what makes us, the only way to find who you really are is when you can let go of your ego than you will be left with God-image which is His attributes, it's not by meditation or anything like that, it's just let the soul take the driving seat by saying NO to the ego or worldly desire.
Dear Friend, I just saw your comment. Thank you. Hazrat Inayat khan explain our being in 4 parts. Body, mind and soul. For him the mind has two part: surface and deep. Surface of mind is thoughts and emotional reactions. Deep of our mind is hearth. hearth means deep love(selfless love)harmony, beauty....such deep feelings. Hazrat Inayat khan calls this world Jin-Worls. In Quantum-philosophy it is the "field". Soul world is quite different than Jin-Worls. It is independet from body and mind. It is pour conciesnous. Soul has also two part: one is surface, the other is deep. The deep of soul is directly bounded to source, to Allah. That`s why Kuran says, soul is amr Allah. Ego belongs to the mind. It is part of mind. According to Hazrat Inayat khan, we can not destroy Ego, but we can make it transparent. That´s why the building of personality so important. It means make the ego finer and finer. That is the famous Makamat-theory in sufism. My warmest greetings
One time while doing HU meditation I heard the word HU coming out of my body in the area around my chest and stomach. It was repeating itself. After that I was afraid to do this meditation again.
Bana kismet oldu Shirazda bulundugum zaman, Hafizi Shirazinin kabrini ziyaret etdim. "Be cehan khorram ez anam ke cehan khorram ez ust , Ashegam bar hame alem ke, hame alem az ust"
Der indische zikr, Vorallem der zikr von inayyat khan ist kollektiv und extatisch und es gibt sehr sehr ruhige zikr von den menzil nakshibendi aus der türkei. Die machen nur den schweigenden zikr. Und es gibt auch den persönlichen Dhikr für zuhause. Also diese Aufteilung in indisch, orientalisch und balkanisch geht nicht ganz auf
This is a fascinating lecture about the brothers by the Shaik. There is a very good documentary about them available called "The Four Brothers", which is very moving, and details these classic years. I'm not sure when this meeting took place. I think it was in the recent Islamic school Anjuman i Islam classes, of which a very beautiful kanqah I attended recently was given. Thank you very much for sharing this treasure. Superb.
Thank you Shaik for this fascinating talk on the significance of myth to nourish one's own spiritual awakening. An area that coincides with my own research and writings. I hope more of your postings will be available in due time from the Dutch Sessions.
Another wonderful appraisal of the importance of the Heart and Beauty in Sufism and its shaping of the personality. A truly Platonic philosophy also. Thank you.
Another outstanding conversation on Hazrat's Inayat Khan's deep wisdom teachings. Thank you for your insightful exposition Shaikh al Mashaik and Prof. Hitendra Wadhwa.
