Your channel is absolutely awesome. Full of history, and quality camera work & advice. Well done ! Voice over is also 10/10. Thanks for sharing. Bring on the next one.
So two days ago, I'm sitting, contemplating the next school holidays. Late last year Carnarvon was the go but alas, me - the driver, camp organiser, navigator etc broke my leg. So now I plan a different journey where we'll visit the gorge for a smaller walk or two (leg gets tired) and plan something else. But what? So I open RU-vid and BAM....this was the first video and it was only 30 mins since posted. Trip now planned. THANK YOU!
@@things_I_saw ah sorry to hear about your leg, but great to hear you’re up for some Carnarvon Gorge rehabilitation! Thanks so much for your thoughtful comment:)
Great episode. Love the history and geology. Lots Wife probably named after the Lot's Wife story from the Bible, where she turned into a pillar of salt. Lot, his wife and 2 daughters were urged by 2 angels to flea Sodom during its destruction. They were instructed not to look back but Lot's wife did and she turned into a pillar of salt. The story is found in Genesis 19: 1-38.
@@tafadzwakevinbadza Wow! That’s the best comment I’ve read on socials in forever! Thank you so much for that super interesting and likely very true information on the nomenclature of Lots Wife…I’m glad I didn’t look back as we drove off!
You’re going to need to go back and see Wards canyon because you missed one of the best bits! Great episode, thanks for sharing and inspiring a return trip
@@bigkevycrawf True! Disappointed we had to scale our effort on the hike but I honestly don’t think we’d have survived in that heat had we done the lot:) Never mad about having another reason to go back to such an incredibly beautiful spot though!
@@TheOutFit Thanks so much guys, that’s actually great compliment! Yes, it’s a stunning place with an incredible history:) can’t wait to see you guys start exploring in your new beast , it’s going to be epic!
Thanks brother, obviously such a brilliant time was had, but none of it could be remembered like this, without your magic behind the camera. Teamwork definitely made this dream come to life in an unforgettable and beautiful way.
Mate.. been waiting for another video from you and the team! Loved the footage, the humour, the story-telling, the messages, and the overall presentation 👏🏼 Great episode! And, PLEASE, keep them coming 🙏🏼
Much appreciated mate I’m weighing up getting them on order. 1 more question….. are you finding you only have to adjust the compression most the time? I’m asking because imo there’s not much point having adjustable compression in cab but having to get out and adjust the rebound if ya know what I mean?
@@courtneymccagh3815 sure am. Took them to Carnarvon and K’gari this year, along with some hectic Glassy work and they’re as good as new, so far that I can tell. I was thinking I’d definitely break a wire or something, but they’re performing beyond expectations. Hope that helps.
Well made guys, definitely on the to do list, glad your video has no click bait chick's in G-strings for the views, well narrated by down to earth fellas
Thanks guys, a very well put together piece. You have got all us lads now looking at vehicle heights and rear departure angles as our vehicles are only 2" (NSW max allowed without an engineers certificate) lift and our under tray boxes are behind the rear wheels also. We appreciate the honesty and experience. Thankyou
Not bad for cars the still operating like the old horse & wagon days of the leaf springs, 😂 not a big fan of the left springs, but the convention kit from superior engenering is a great solution, and make them awesome tropies even more superb
It is great to have the whole series out now 😎🙌🏼 This series tells the story of completing all the hardest 4x4 tracks North Queensland has to offer with little more than a bump on the rear bar after 3000+ kilometres... That was always the plan and it came to fruition with great planning and execution 👌🏼 These vehicles speak for themselves 🫳🎤 You don't have to reck your shit to get the job done! Well Done Ant!
Don't know if I am right... but I'm pretty sure this is the first video to included a proper FPV drone shot up at the Cape. I know people have taken DJI FPV system there before but everyone knows that isn't the same thing...😜
