Hi, I haven't tried substituting beer for milk entirely, perhaps start with a 50/50 ratio of beer and milk then adjust to your preferences. Laurel leaf is good for lechon paksiw. When the meat is cooked, you throw in new garlic cloves. You don't fry the meat-- you let the liquid reduce and when the meat starts to dry out, it will fry in its own fat. That's the best adobo. No need for anato seeds-- the soy sauce will give the color

Hi Julian, I recommend you to use unsalted butter for accurate salt amount. Or maybe if you will use salted butter I think you can reduce the salt. Let me know how it goes. 😊❤️
