I was with Houstons Dentist in Weston for over 30 years until they kicked me out as they no longer do NHS appointments. It's disgusting how the government have allowed dentists to all go private.
The mistake was made in 1978. when married women were allowed to pay full stamps and make up the short fall in contributions Women born in 1950 or later , were told they could retireat 0 .Thid should never have happened. Men born in 1950,or earlier or later still have to work to 659or now 66)This is not right , as men do not live as long as women, and therefore draw less money during their retirement years---I am not a man. I am a women's Lib.supporter in all areas othervthan the bias towards woen tn the Family Corts Divorce division. and the WASPI women expecting to retire 5 years earlier than men of the same age. The real discrimination is on Marriedwomen born between 1930 and 1950. If we were working , once we got married, we still had to pay National Ibsurance at half a full stamp(50% of a full stamp, ) but were not entitled to any benefits at all from our sontributions I paid this 50% ratr from 1960 to 20)0, but my Government pension ws bascon my husband'scontributions , and my own contributions did not count . I got one third of a full pension , and would have Got this amount if I had never worked. I did not get this Pension at 60 , as the WASPI women are demanding.. The GovenmenT rectified this anomaly on differing retirement dsates for men and women in 1995, so the WASPI women cannot claim that they did not know. I finally started getting a bigger GGovernment Pension in 2023 , when myhusband died and I got my much reduced Pension at 64, when my husband was 65 ,in December 2000.It ismy generation who should be compensated , and given an updated Half Pension bsck=dated to the date when we finally got our tiny pensioNs. The reality iS , we will get nthing , because of the money being paid out to the millions who have never worked , and to the millions of illegal immigrants who aremostly economic migrants .

Terry Evans I have never asked for equality, except in how I am treated. I know my husband can do tasks that I cannot do because he is much stronger than me. He also could not give birth to our children and certainly didn't want to care for them as little ones and give up his earnings as I had to, with no maternity pay and no option of returning to work. I, however, was born into a generation where working class people (especially girls) were expected to get a job to help support the family finances at a time when my hardworking father was made redundant from a North East coalmine because some overpriviledged Prime Minister who never knew a day's poverty in her life decided it would happen, despite there being no contingency plan for the poor sods effected and no jobs. No free nursery places for children, no nurseries in fact apart from privately run (expensive) provision. No family credit, no work pension schemes for the vast majority of working women until well after 1990, hence no work pension. How long does it take to build a pension? More than the time they gave us women. I am still working because my work pension is not enough to live on, and my state pension doesn't start until next year. Don't insult me about equality. Do your homework, and you will see that women have been treated badly for years, and most decent men don't want their wives or partners to work until they drop. Equality my arse, the government could have brought the pension age down for men and given them a better quality of life, but they chose to cream off 200 billion to give to their buddies in corrupt PPE deals.
This is different to equality in the respect of non informed changes.The inequality therein is about changes to working rights. Be aware that there will be many more to come if the governments think they can get away with it. Cheap imported labour and no pensions in the future.Protect the working classes.

I was given less than 2 years notice of a six year wait for my pension. A man born the same day and year as me would have received just under 8 years notice of one added year to the wait for their pension - how is that equality? The issue here is the proven maladministration on the part of the DWP. They failed their own standards of service, gave women no time to plan or prepare and destroyed the lives of thousands of women as a result.

This has dragged on for many years now and women who lost their pensions have died without justice. This is the most recent reference I have found as my searches for news seem to be years old. It will be a usual hum and haw, dragging of heels..and throwing the can down the road. All those usual tricks to avoid paying out to those who were robbed of their pensions and futures. There is delay after delay...to the point that it is not a delay...but a deliberate tactic to avoid compensating these women. True...I have a very small private pension and am not entitled to any benefits whatsoever. Whereas every migrant and people who have never worked receive everything going . Even help with gas and elec. I hope we receive our compensation , believe me when I say I have and still am suffering because of this
