I am a lover, a dreamer, and a creator. I push past barriers, make the impossible possible, and enjoy life to the fullest each day. This channel is for me to remember events and activities in my life in which I am proud of. Feel free to visit my website for more information: www.alysonroth.com
Kevin Roth was not a victim - he was a bully along with 4 other students who made David Black's live a living hell. David did not mean to shoot Mr Willey.
That's cool. I seen this a few times. Haven't tried it but maybe one day. i use my kfo leg braces to walk around for a bit. Glad you enjoyed it. You looked so happy 8}
Thanks hun! It was a chance of a lifetime, and the technology is coming faster than we think. I have kfo's, too, but they are just so cumbersome. I mostly use my standing frame. It's so important to stay healthy and in shape for when that day comes! And yes, I was very, very happy to feel everything move again!
Good for you, Alyson!!! I just tried Ekso last week, and I know how you feel. It means so much to be able to stand and hold your weight and balance and take walking steps. Yes, it is a fantastic feeling!
Statistically, it is very hard to win the first time you bid, because the newly chosen person always bids 1st, and it's likely that you will either be over or one of the other 3 will bid $1 higher than you or otherwise higher than you but lower than the correct price and shut you out. So, being the 2nd-to-last person chosen, or especially the last person, is a tough spot. I attended a taping 4 years ago, and after the last person lost the one-bid, Drew came up to her and said, "I'm so sorry."
I was the next to last person to be chosen to Contestants Row. Unfortunately, that's as far as I got but received consolation prizes! I was excited to simply have been chosen!!
You are correct, however I never said I was the first ever. I said I was the first that season. Nonetheless, it's great that they accommodate for people with disabilities, thus my excitement and expression for being chosen!
Wish I could make out what you were saying in the first minute or so: I'm hearing impaired, and your voice was buried in the noise. May I suggest captioning your video for the hearing impaired.
There isn't much of anything that tops what it feels like when you first realize that all things have been made new. To get a new start. To get a new outlook. To get a new journey with the Lord. To know that God isn't holding it against me I get brand new mercies everyday. So yesterday's messups don't keep me from seeing God's blessings today. I love the message behind the words but even moreso I love the One who sent the message and made it possible for all things to become new!!!
Thank you so much! Yes, life is what you make of it and I make try to make it amazing each and every day! I appreciate your kind words. May you be blessed!
Like, even though (presumably) your spine is hosed, you seem to have your life pretty much together. As an added bonus, you're absolutely gorgeous. You go, girl!
There are other clips up here that have wheelchair contestants. They have a ramp to get the wheelchair up on the stage or up on a platform (I think they stop tape and wheel the contestant around the back). There is a clip where a wheelchair guy played Switcheroo, and he got 45 sec. instead of 30 to play, and was allowed to tell the models where to place the blocks. It's wonderful that the show accommodates the handicapped. I care because my cousin and my brother both use wheelchairs.
I am so blesed to be able to be in this tent service every Sunday. I enjoy it so much I get there for the practice and then stay for both services. I love Daid Cobb Morris Chapman Ken Reynolds David Pettway Alva Copeland and our own Mama Huntington. Tony and the band keep us hopping.
David Cobb is a blessed worship leader and this is an awesome example of that! Praise the Lord for Saddleback's Praise tent and the worship experience there!! PRAISE IS WHAT WE DO!! :-)
