Human Brothers, There is a time for everything in human life: A time to be born, one to die. A time of happiness, a time of pain. A time of giving, a time of asking for assistance perhaps. It is in this last moment that I find myself and without your humanism, the survival of several people dependent on us is threatened. This time is crucial: where we rise for good or we fall into the indescribable. Why have we come to ask for your help? We are a poor family be damned. I who write to you, aged 64, am second in a family of 7 out of 12.3 anemics died as well as 2 suffering from HIV. I was the parent at an advanced age of a daughter, 2 twins and 2 twins. I also have under my guardianship 2 orphans and a grandson whose father is unknown. The eldest in our family had his first son at the age of thirteen. In short, the whole family history is sad. I was unable to access university studies not because of lack of intelligence or willpower but because of a curse and that takes a long time to explain. I had a job at 28 that ended 2 years later and found another 18 years later. See my profile and you will see where he is currently: a farmer farmer. I started working in the fields since 2008. Supervision of the work was carried out by the parents then by a cousin until November 2023. The results were catastrophic and caused us to slide into precariousness. When my fixed-term employment contract was not renewed, I took the destiny of our field work in hand. It is the first way that can get us out of the precariousness and hunger that threatens us every day. . As my means were limited, I cried out for help. But the echo was too weak and with the assistance received, we made great efforts to plant basic foods and a few fruit trees. We have areas where we plan to plant tide corn this month. In the months that follow, we must maintain the momentum of planting several things to get us out of begging for good. Now or never! Where we live, or we die, your disposition will determine our future fate. We need the minimum to pay for various seeds, inputs and to plow where our strength is limited. Thank you for your response and God will remember everything one day.
Kudos to you all for your passion, insights and commitment to addressing the critical issues that keep our communities and ecosystems from thriving. I'm actually a boomer who has experienced burnout, loneliness and isolation because of constantly fighting to change systems that support keeping people in positions of vulnerability and struggle. However, when I was given leadership responsibilities, I embraced the opportunity to guide, coach and support my emerging leaders to explore ideas, develop strategies, make mistakes and learn from those mistakes. Toxic cultures definitely try to justify inaction, burying your head in the sand, and doing things the way they've always been done - even when faced with glaring evidence that their practices need to change. Your generation is absolutely more emotionally intelligent and aware of what's needed to truly make and impact and end the seemingly insurmountable problems we face. Keep speaking up and speaking out!
I am so inspired by this next generation! Thank you so much for bringing their voices and important work to the fore in this field. As an older millennial, I have felt and experienced all of the critiques that this group has brought up in terms of the lack of change, burnout, as well as the unwillingness for current nonprofit leaders to listen and support young leaders to "revolutionize" the sector. I'm out of the nonprofit sector after 10 years due to burnout, but mostly due to disillusionment and the lack of integrity for organizations to act on what they say are their values. But truly, hearing this panel restores my faith in the field.
Our mothers of the last 60 years have assisted in the road to where we are and can also be the solution to where we should naturally be according to the loving nature of the eternal father God Jehovah. The original king of weird!

Thank you for the video I’m still struggling to imagine a whole another human being could treat another human being the way they used to that then it’s just unimaginable I just breaks my heart brining tears to my eyes. With a successful online campaign, are folks also integrating offline elements? For instance, sending an email and then following up with a phone call? Or coordinating a mailer with an online ask?

The Tax Code is a total Joke ... they have cut so many state deductions we used to write off on our federal taxes that I have no benifits from. From 2012 on, I will never buy a new car because the sales taxes cannot be written off and will never own a business in America again because you in office only reward those who will not do for themselves or the elites ...the middle class is screwed by you in office! I could not write off any charitable donations I gave and I learned not to again!
recently i was doing some research for some family history. i came upon some old articles from an arkansas newpaper.i read them for hours. it really gave me an eye opening view on what the daily problems might have been. and how hard it must have been for people in slavery. Noone shoudl ever have to go through slavery again. Everyone sould see what it was like.i think its a Necisity to preserve these structures. and i appreciate this mans efforts.
