Our goal is unique. It’s to keep you doing what you love by teaching you Most healthcare practitioners think success is measured by how many times they can see you, but we know that if we keep you doing the things you love, you’ll tell your friends we’ve helped and share our videos.

We don’t need to see you 3 times per week for the rest of your life. There are too many people who really need care whom we want to help. It takes a little more time to teach you how to be involved in your care, but the payoff is exponential, subscribe today!

At ProActive Chiropractic, we fix pain and give you individualized home care instructions. Then we teach you how to prevent that terrible issue from showing back up. Find us at our Bay Area location: 22 Battery St, #600, San Francisco, CA 94111 and www.ProActiveSF.com

can this be used to strengthen recovering ankles and knees too ? post rehabilitation obviously, or will it be too taxing ?
@ProActiveChiro
@ProActiveChiro 2 дня назад
Yes. Just start with less reps, even one or two to start with is a step in the right direction. It shouldn’t be painful though if it is that could be a sign of something else going on so you should see a sports chiro or your movement doc. Try it and let us know how it goes after two weeks.

You would want to wait til you get cleared by your surgeon but yes once it is safe for you to strengthen and stretch these are useful for that too. If in doubt ask your surgeon at your visit as I’m not familiar with your case so would hate to give you bad info.

I used to do all that. Fell out of the tub hit the nerves in my face and neck.my headaches were so bad i had to duck tape my face up. One day I cracked it and then got really pissed and did it again. I heard all these little snaps. Lifted my head up and all the tension from my neck just dlid down . Then my face got numb tll it hit my nose and then it all went back in place. And the best was that my ear drum on the right side doesn't vibrate so i end up yelling and don't realize it. Took me an hour to realize i was able to hear better. Now ill never crack my neck again cause im not going yo mess it up

I just did the exercises. Instant relief. I have a question though. I elevated my legs yesterday, and left the blood pumping into thr feet. And found some relief then as well. Are these two linked
@ProActiveChiro
@ProActiveChiro 4 месяца назад
Elevation helps get the inflammation down and strengthening/stretching can accomplish flush that out as well so great combo. In our office I like to combo the exercisers, hands on treatment, elevated legs with the Normatec compression system to further contribute to speedy healing, as that’s commonly used with professional athletes. There probably is someone offering that near you (for like $20-40 a session) if you don’t want to invest in one. amzn.to/4cR6OKb I haven’t spoken about it much on the channel because it is another expense but I should share. That's frustraiting but little lumps feel huge in the foot when you're weight bearing, it may just be too small to feel through the skin. Try to work around it but don't target it. Thanks for the clarification. Yes, contract the back calf for 3 seconds (pushing into the ground a bit harder, then stretch a bit deep each time after). It's a trick to get the muscle to lengthen more quickly.

My Morton’s neuroma is very odd. I had it years ago and it disappeared and then it came back this year randomly. I play basketball and I do train a lot but I’m pretty smart with rest when I need to. However, I can still play one or two days a week But I noticed it does aggravated a little bit. It’s like the bubble disappears and then it reappears later in the day. Wondering if I should just take two weeks off of Basketball. Don’t want to though *sigh
@ProActiveChiro
@ProActiveChiro 6 месяцев назад
It's not uncommon for it to come and go. That's a good time to assess the shoes and if you need custom insoles. We talk about that in another video. Re basketball, it's difficult to tell without an exam but def. don't just push through and keep playing without understanding what is being flared up. Good luck. Keep me posted. Wish I was nearby to do a full exam and put together a solid plan so you don't have to limit your playing each week. Don't give up, it's not permanent.
