Chrysanthemums, human hair, predatory animal urine, cayenne pepper, etc also help. Fishing line strung about between plants also discourages most small critters and even deer. I also use pinwheels and solar lights, as well as a fake owl. 🦉 No more bunnies 🐇🐰
Marigolds are more of a sacrificial crop. If you want plants that keep critters and pests away try chrysanthemums. The contain permethrin and most things hate the smell.
Ill stay with this theory, not all of them work, because i just bought mine off amazon and TODAY too!! I've been having severe pests issues, and i bought them today and I see them even at this time routinely !! And they are not here ! But again, I just got them today !! the box told me 1-2 weeks I may see the mice panicking, and by 3rd week they move out, and i have mine plugged into my outlets atm ! And i domt see any mice yet !! I usually see them right now too ! I am very convinced that they do work !!
you can't they are all fake, they just emit a noise the Animals can hear, but eventually they get used to the noise, the same way birds in cities get used to the noise from cars and people etc. I mean if a blinking light and a noise scared Foxes and birds There would be no such thing as an urban fox, or an urban pigeon. Your dog or cat would not come into the house if the TV was on or if someone was playing loud music. It's not like cities are pitch black Or silent, every single one of these so-called sonic Animal repellers is fake in the fact that they don't repel anything.
My exterminator said not to use RAID as its a repellant that will drive them deep into the walls, making the problem seem to go away only to get worse then ever down the road.
