Currently this channel includes lectures and example problems related to courses in system dynamics, control, and mechanics that I teach at the University of Detroit Mercy. If you are looking for additional material related to these topics, please see the two websites given below.
Excellent ! State-space and subsequently state variables are fascinating with ramifications towards linear and nonlinear system identification, and digital signal processing.
EXCELLENT and VERY CLEAR !!!! ... I am currently working on research utilizing state variables in modeling nonlinear systems for system identification and adaptive digital signal processing.
hi, at website cruise control analyze you showed frequency response. actually i dont understand here interpretation of frequency as always (cycles per second in a vibrating string or an AC electrical signal). because it does not mean as normal.what does frequency here mean?
The output of a vehicle cruise control is the vehicle's speed. While such a system won't necessarily oscillate "naturally" (like a vibrating string) it will oscillate if the system is forced by an oscillating input. So here the speed of the car is oscillating, but that is because the input is also oscillating. That is the idea of frequency response, analyzing how a system responds to oscillating inputs of different frequencies.
Sir, Is 3 the minimum number of state variables? As the system is 2nd order I can able represent its dynamics using only two states x1 = y-z x2 = ydot-zdot x1dot = x2 x2dot = (1/m1+1/m2)*(bx2+kx1) + u/m2 Is it right?
For your set of variables, you would not be able to determine the "state" of the system because you can't distinguish between the kinetic energy stored in mass1 and the kinetic energy stored in mass2.
I am not totally sure what you are asking, but my lectures follow along with the type of material you would find in most standard introductory controls textbooks. The book I use is System Dynamics by Ogata. Please let me know if you were looking for something different.
As an application engineer, I have to say your conceptual introduction of FOC has articulated a few key points and their mathematical proof mind map. Thank you, Sir.
WHAT ON OORT R YA DOIN ;IN DETROIT BRAU2?@##@ LMFAO+BOOM - BEFORE U THINK I AM IN MONTE CARLO - EG RAND CORP - LMFAO I'M AN ANALYST WHO REALLYH LIVES IN NYC & LA BUTT++ STUCK IN CHICAGO FUHR MNOWL - BUTT++ DETROIT?#@#@ I WAS LIKE WTF?# WHEN DID DETROIT NOT GET BLOCKADED3@?#@ I HEARD OF THAT QUICKEN MORTAGE & TEH SLAVS STILL THERE
I have watched and learned from all these videos, I did not anticipate that the explanations could be so clear and also concise. Thank you very much for providing us with these great videos! It would be great if you could complete the missing series number 1,15,24,25 for us perfectionists!
