This is truly an underrated piece of gear. I've integrated mine into my Boss GT-1000 and it sounds just righteous. It's too bad Steve switched to Synergy gear, which is also underrated gear.
I’m wondering about the x1 pedal. I have used a x100b for years but I’m simplifying my rig and want to go straight to the system. I’d like to hear this demo with the x1
I bought the Carvin BX1600. I was expecting a bass amp head like ampeg SVT4 or genz benz GBE1200. I was surprised to see how lightweight this amp is. Too light for the wattage. Are they good and last?
I love my Bel Air. Mine had the Celestion V30s. I swapped them out with Splawn 55s. I love the clean and I run my board through the front input. I play a lot of down tuned doom metal with a Sabbra Cadabra pedal for my distortion. So yeah.....if you're a metal head you can find the right combination on your board to get it done. Straight through the amp, you get basically what you hear in this video and it's still great tone. The clean channel is the reason I sought this amp out and found mine used for $300.
@@DMSProduktions Wow! That's way too much an asking price for that amp. I still see them in my neck of the woods (southeaster Virginia) in the $350 to $500 range.
Should of done better commercials one time I went to the carvin store in Hollywood shopping for subwoofers was interested in the trx serie and the guy that worked there didn’t show me nothing the demo of the songs he had left and didn’t buy anything..
Can you explain the dual graphic eq? Why have two? Does one go to the left main and the other to the right main? Doesn't really make sense if they are summed. If so which is which? Thanks!
You can't go wrong with a Carvin AG series amp. I have this AG300 and also the original AG100 (reverb only), which I recall buying in 1996. That AG100 has been to a lot of gigs and still runs like a champ. I mostly use these for keyboards and acoustic guitar, but have also done voice, acoustic or electric guitar, music playback, and bass gigs with these.
Yes Carvin pro audio is back baby ! ! ! 🗨️☝️🤓 Please bring back the bass guitar amplifiers and add 3 of tube that make the sound warm, heavy & crisp horn at the top man that's what i'm takin' about Carvin let's get it on.
