Have they sorted out the underwhelming bass response they had with their other models? Does it sound genuinely warm or overly clean and somewhat sterile like the Roland JC-40 and 120's?
Who are these guys?!?! JC on a bicycle. Be-bop up the wazoo. The melodic lines, the bass lines (on treble strings), the chord melodies, the COUNTERPOINT SOLOING (sans rhythm section). Inspiration to the max. ViveLaJazz
Well crap! I just found out about y'all very early this morning. I'm pretty sure I just found a new core piece for my clean sound. I just have zero idea on how I'm going to make this happen, I just know I have to find a way to make it happen. Those cleans are magnificent, dark, haunting, and at the same time, crystal clear bell like tone. Which is exactly what I strive for in my tone. I suspect it'll make an excellent pedal platform as well. It seems the Facebook and RU-vid algorithms conspired and accidentally got it right in my feeds. Your amp is impressive, and I'm super particular about my amp sound.
What kind strings you using, great sounding guitar, and i am curious, you doing Bireli Lagrene video and he playing yamaha 2200, what gauge flats he using that guitar, thank you👍👍
Excellent review! It sounds amazing. What are you using to get the jazz fusion driven tones in this demonstration? Does the amp itself give these tones or are you running it through something? I'm sold on the clean sounds but want to also get to some of the warmer shredder tones like you show here..
This amp is great. The sound goes without saying and the size is very helpful for people who travel a lot. It's also very convenient to share with vocals and another guitar. If it were a little cheaper, there would be nothing to say about it.
I played my L5 and my Benedetto over a cheap and simple Yamaha THR5 for 250 Euros. I thought the Bud would be another level.....Save the money! The difference is minimal!
