A Stirling effort Big Ginge . It's a right mess down there . It's sad to see the dumping late on . Also you have to be so Carefull of the Growth , branches and Rails underfoot . I remember High School days about 1993 when I used to walk the ehole section from Selsdon to Coombe Lane . There was A Cory Oil Depot at Selsdon . And on day my friend and ai were on out way back from Selsdon and a Class 33 Diesel rounded the corner behind us from Selsdon . 😆 We legged it up to Spencer Road . At the time you could move all the agroundframe every and points too . Not now. Too overgrown . That a Lineside Telecommunications box ! Signal and Telegraph . You slowly found a smashed up piece of Southern Concrete vertical fencing . Well done ! There is a big chunk of Lattice Signal post around there somewhere , or there was ? I done my own video's of that section of the live not long ago . Was a long time coming , had to be done .
@@slim_craiggy1926 I'm shocked mate . You say they cut it all back ! Doubt they took away the rubbish tho . Might be going back there again very soon anyway . A Mate of mine wants to hit up under the bridge N of Spencer . The guy is the nuts and has supported me a lot in the last few years . I recently lost both my Parents to 2021 =^~^= Lol my Brambol and Stud pieces are still there . Been there since 2009 . But there's DOM DFL stuff there low done that was done early mid 90's The TSR one on the Croham Road bridge is Early 90's . Tough Stuff Records I think it was ? Then I done my 🥕 up there 😂
this was really interesting i have always went over that bridge as a kid but never actually went down there so thanks for going, i always wondered what it was like down there, my grandma used to scare us and say at night a ghost train came through. dunno how old you are but you might remember some of the old station buildings that are now gone like addiscombe train station building which was demolished when i was 5 and replaced by that housing estate and woodside station is still there its just boarded up and a tram stop replaced the platforms. don't mind me im a train enthusiast.
I'm in to trains a bit aswell. I'm too young to remember the stations but I've done my research and I know about them and have pictures of them. I've got another video on my channel where I went back on the tracks but went further up to a second footbridge. You can see alot more of it on that video. I've got a lot more interesting information on that line on my Facebook group, Instagram and twitter.
