Just found your channel while looking for a Metra Blazer sew along. I just googled a needle board and they are selling for near $250.00 dollars now that is inflation at its best 😂😂 Thank you for the tips on printing the pattern.
Hi, I just want to point out that that is a ruffler attachment and not a gathering foot. The ruffler allows you to set the amount of pleats per stitches ( about 3 variations from memory ) and a gathering foot is a little one that gathers rather than ruffles. Lovely video, I just thought I'd point that out for newbies though :) I am in Australia and would love to make some dresses if the project is running in 2024 and there is an Australian Ambassador. Do you know how I would find out? Thanks :)

Just found you, excellent video! Lol, when you started saying it was getting a bit nippy , let me tell you that our forecast for tomorrow is 38 C. 🥵 The air conditioner will be on all day! ( we live in South Australia) . So maybe no sewing for a few days 😀. Have subscribed, so i can binge watch RU-vid to pass the time till it cools down.

I just discovered your channel last evening and subscribed right away. Your review of this book is incredibly helpful to me because although I’ve seen for decades, in the past 20+ years I’ve mostly sewn quilts and bags. I’m interested in going back to sewing clothes and discovered I’m definitely rusty in that area. Because of your excellent review, I ordered this book right away and looking forward to receiving it. @@mysewingpractice great! We are in Florida to escape the cold of Ohio. Normally I bring my littlest sewing machine but didn’t this time. I’m in between projects and couldn’t decide what to bring. So I brought some hand embroidery. I’ll need to visit a fabric store to keep my energy up!
I totally agree that budget and finances are very important part of sewing and I'm always interested to know what someone else is spending and how they are budgeting. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and wishing you a very blessed New Year

How did I miss this video Kathy? I can’t tell you how much this has helped me. As you know I recently had my colors done and am also a Calm Autumn. Funny, one of my favorites to wear is teal!😊 But I also like aqua which isn’t in my color palette 😢 Now I need to watch part 2!
