Hi. We've just had a rubber membrane installed but the roofers haven't placed contact adhesive on the gutter edge as they said it shouldn't go on the baton. Is this right?
hi, you didn't show doing the wall flashing!!, do u have a vid showing that?. what did u use?. will this epdm go straight on top of old felt roof? as i really dont want to remove all the old felt and wood boards if possible as their not too bad, the felt is just splitting and leaking when it rains, or is there another option like remove all the old felt inc all the edges and simply put rubber down on the old wooden floor, or poss put new wood sterling board over the old wood floor ?. any advice appreciated, thanks-dave
Watching this video makes me angry!!! Been trying to get this drip plate in for the last 2 hours, this is a lie! Unless your hands are made of iron you can’t just spank the drip plate in I’m here using a lump hammer and chisels! Never right this doesn’t show you anything!
This is a great video and is clearly explained. I saw you applying the sealant to the top of the trim, but how did you finish the end section, did you apply sealant down the vertical edge too?
Do not buy this crap! The adhesive is not holding the membrane! And the worst part is that you won't get any support if you have any problems! The Hertalan will simply ignore your emails, that is what happened to me.
