That's a fail a** comment bro ROFL Now, I'm going to keep it 100, I did eat that, but there's tons of people from the hood who didn't. My sister didn't, same household. I was born in the 80's, she was more in the 90's. One of my best friends did, but the other 2 did not. We all from the same area in Brooklyn, straight from the Projects. Lots of people live in the hood and don't partake in some of the things in the hood. And everything in the hood ain't good either. Urban Black Culture is highly negative, but there's positives in it as well. My biggest issue with growing up in the hood is that some be so blinded to the outside world that they absorb all the negativity and they can't think outside of the box. Clear example, I know a lot of black men who complain about black women, but their only experience with black women are ghetto black women who are toxic and overly aggressive; that's not the only group of black women. My wife is Caribbean, but a nice feminine woman, I got no issues with her. Us hood blacks be acting like Caribbean and African women ain't black because they ain't ghetto. That's the inside of the box mentality. I've dated Latina's and Caribbean black women my whole life, many hood Spanish folks think just like us hood blacks do. Gotta get beyond that mindset. I did but simply not viewing myself like a victim and stepping outside by choice.
