I've got a handful of hobbies, and one of my favorites is collecting Swiss firearms. I thought it could be interesting to showcase some of my firearms. Just so you know, this is more of a hobby thing for me, so I won't be putting out videos all the time.
🗣️ You can ask me questions in German 🇩🇪, Swiss German 🇨🇭, French 🇫🇷, and English 🇬🇧. I'm here to assist and open to new experiences as well.
You have sharp eyes! It‘s the „Single-Stage Precision (SSP) M4 Curved Bow“. No modification needed. Used the B&T pins. I am testing a couple of different triggers at the moment.
@@gruezihans That's perfect. Thats the trigger I was thinking about putting in mine as well. Glad to hear there's no need to modify the lower. Thanks for the reply.
@@gruezihans I have the APC9 (Limited) one of 500 imported to US. - It comes with 9" barrel, Alu lower. Elfman trigger. Love it. You cannot find this anywhere.
Amazing video!! Just a question. Are you supposed to use solvent cleaner on the bolt head? Heard you aren’t supposed to get any near the firing pin. Also are you able to lube up the gas system and the regulator? Thank you very much!
Thank you! Actually, you should lightly oil the bolt head, but make sure the firing pin stays dry. For the gas system, I do oil it when cleaning but then wipe off the oil with a cloth afterward-no solvent needed. Hope that clears things up!
@@gruezihans Perfect that helps so much! But can I also choose to use CLP or would you solely recommend using oil for metal on metal contact and solvent for the rest ? how do you avoid getting the firing pin getting wet ? And one more thing do you like to lube and wipe everything down when it comes right out of the box? So sorry for all these questions but I just want to be as informed as possible.
@@hudthestud6758 No problem, happy to help! You can definitely use CLP-it's a great all-in-one option. Personally, I prefer using oil for metal-on-metal contact and solvent elsewhere, but everyone does it their way. In the Swiss military, they actually use grease instead of oil, and that works too! To keep the firing pin dry, just apply oil carefully and use a cloth to wipe around it. As for new rifles, I do a light wipe-down and oil the key parts, but again, it's all about what works best for you. Let me know if you have more questions!
Thanks for this great video! I love my GHM9 as well (GHM9kG). I set mine up similarly to yours (telescopic stock, folding left-hand charging handle). But I haven’t tried the „American way“ yet, nor do I use a VFG.
Hell yea! Beautiful looking gun man. I've been watching your channel since I got my first B&T a few months ago, an APC45SD. Love it but wish it came in the sweet tan color your GHM came in. I need to get one of these!
Thanks a ton! The APC45SD is an absolute beauty-you're already rocking an amazing piece.😎 Honestly, I love the tan, but cleaning FDE can be a full-time job! Happy shooting and guet Schuss!
They are from PHX Phoenix in Switzerland. You can install them on Sphinx SDP or Phoenix Fusion/Predator. They all use the same lower. I bought them from Indoorswiss in Switzerland.
@@asathomas84 otherwise ask @MDpolo, he knows the importer of PHX in the USA and perhaps he can help 🙂 otherwise feel free to hit me up via email mate!
The shop said they don't ship overseas, so I contacted The Attic Imports (USA importer of Phoenix firearms), and they put me on a list for when they get more in. 🤞
Thank you for your very informative video. It provided the necessary information to make me feel comfortable purchasing one yesterday. Thank you and best regards from USA!
Switzerland is one of the few countries that allows its citizens to own firearms… different laws from the USA… but hes not wrong. You shouldn’t fear a gun… the more you know about anything… the less scared you will be.
3 minutes in and after being interrupted by my son I found myself asking “Is this Arnold talking?” Love the accent it’s fitting for this video and style you got going on. Great work homie!
Arnold (Schwarzenegger Former Governor of California) You really have to stop this.We know this is you. You v can actually give speeches to Republican's and raise money.
I’ve been deciding for awhile, which B&T I wanted to get and watching your content has been helpful. I really appreciate them. Thank you! I ended up going with an APC45SD btw. Such a cool gun and cool brand
Tolles Video!
