I’m so thankful for RU-vid like fr . It gives me the opportunity to share a fun experience like this with you at the click of a button. No matter where you are or what time it is, you can be a part of a Disney World trip. ITS FREAKING SICK! But at it’s core, this is a trip for Gio and I to look back on and watch when we’re old and wrinkly 💕 🥲
@@madhurimakundu1840 depends on who you ask and I’m not familiar with how 15 rupees feel to Indians. 15 dollars is out of budget for some and easy for others. If this helps- A dress from a store can be between 25-100+ dollars. So 15 is better but not ideal from a second hand shop.
Hello and welcome to my FIRST EVER "WORK" TRIP to the West Coast. I'm excited to finally share this with you all. I'm so thankful for all the connections that I made and places I got to see. Have you ever been to LA? Do you think the lifestyle from the movies is real?
I'd say the *DRESSING* is what's gonna make or break your salad because I personally think just oil and vinegar or lemon juice is pretty boring! Try adding some *NUT BUTTER* or maybe try a *MAYONNAISE or YOGURT* dressing for something really creamy and satisfying. My tip is to always add something SWEET in the dressing like honey, or maple/agave syrup etc. Or if you're lazy or don't have time to bother use a *PESTO!* You can add some oil and salt to make it go further if needed :) It's so quick and easy! Other than that have lots of leavy greens (I love arugula or a mix), something crunchy, some protein, something fatty like a mozzarella or avocado and fruit if you like (I love peaches or nectarines in my salads) nuts or seeds are also great. Also - don't be scared to salt your salad :)
Spinach, chick peas, tomato, avocado, cucumber, pistachio, and fake feta cheese since you're vegan. Drizzle with mixture of lemon, oil and black pepper
I get a container of spring mix or baby spring mix, 1 large cucumber, two avocados, a container of cherry tomatoes, atleast 1 big lemon or several small ones, feta cheese (i use the pre-crumbled kind), a rotisserie chicken (lemon pepper preferrably), olive oil, salt (preferably kosher because its bigger crystals) and pepper (fresh ground is best but its not as important). I wash the spring mix, tear it up into smaller pieces, and put it in the biggest bowl i have. If you use a big container of the spring mix i only use about half of it. Then i dice up my cucumber to see how much i have. Then i take an equal amount of cherry tomatoes and slice them in half, arrange them cut side up, and sprinkle kosher salt on them to draw out some of the moisture. While that sits i tear the meat off of my rotisserie chicken. I cut the breast meat into cubes and usually i just roughly chop the dark meat. I try to use half and half dark and white meat. I dont usually keep the chicken skin on the meat because its a little too greasy. I dont use the whole chicken, i use about the same amount of chicken as cherry tomatoes and cucumbers put together. Then i dice up my avocados, light salt them, and squeeze a healthy amount of lemon juice on them to keep them green. Then i take a paper towel and blot the liquid off of the tomatoes. If i took off all the salt when i blotted them then ill sprinkle on a little more. Then i add the tomatoes, cucumber, chicken, and avocado to the bowl with the spring mix and toss them together lightly. Then i squeeze the juice of about half a lemon onto the salad making sure no seeds get into it. And then i drizzle on a bit of olive oil equal to about half the amount of lemon juice. I always eyeball these amounts which works out bevause i always start with SMALL amounts. Then i add a pinch of kosher salt and about an equal amount of pepper. Then i add about two tablespoons of feta cheese. Then i toss everything together, making sure that each part of the salad is coated. Because i always start light with the lemon juice and olive oil, i expect to add more after this toss. I taste the salad. if its too dry i add more lemon juice and olive oil. If not too dry but kind of bland tasting then i add a bit more lemon juice and feta. The salad takes on a richness from the olive oil, feta, and rotisserie chicken flavor. But it still tastes bright because of all the lemon juice and also from the feta and the veggies. It makes a big portion and its good the next day as leftovers too.
Yay! Thank you for putting your process! I definitely think the use of salt, lemon juice and olive oil is something I could try out at home. Because I always love that at restaurants especially with avocado and some protein. I never thought about drawing out the moisture from my vegetables before hand so I’ll try that. You’re the best💕
Try new experiences and new salads often and sometime ull hit the jackpot. i used to hate salads, hated everything about them until one time i had a salad as a side at a restaurant and was like "might as well try it" and i did and it was so good, maybe better than the actual dish. It was lettuce tomato red onion and a simple honey vinagrette dressing (sweet and sour), the best way to find what works for you is to just try new things imo
@@Alexmary idk im a simple gal, sometimes a honey vinagrette with my fav vegetables just hit the spot. use whatever veggies u want but them being fresh makes a big difference
My go to salad is a Ceasar Salad. Simple, easy, delicious. The best salads have good dressing. Find a dressing you like and then just keep trying stuff with it. And dont be afraid to try things as dressings that you kight not normally consider a salad dressing. My husband's favorite meal i make is a salad. The ingredients are cooked from frozen bag franch fries, lettuce, red onion, diced dill pickles, shreded cheese, avocado, and seasoned cooked ground beef. Topped with a dressing I make that is 3 almost equal parts of Ketchup, honey mustard, and slightly more Miricle Whip. But you could just as easily use bbq sauce or brown deli mustard or soy sauce if you really felt daring.
@@basedloser42 oh wow! I don’t how adventurous I can get with my salads but I do usually have French fries on the side😅 the Trader Joe’s Caesar salad dressing is one I like, but I just haven’t found the PERFECT one I guess. Thanks for the tips!
Yes, I did the same thing this summer for my Goddaughter's wedding; Mom and I hit Goodwill twice but I ended up getting a very cute dress @ Burlington and the shoes Brand new from Goodwill. Total cost $20.
I read all of Lynn Painter's adult romances and I thought they were perfectly cliché, fluffy, cute stories. But the YA romances are not for me! I started reading "Better than the movies" a few months ago (which is also a very hyped book - like everywhere!) and I could not get further than the first chapter. The main character were exactly like you described the ones in "Betting on You", there were so many things wrong that youths should not be taught etc. So, I am glad I'm not alone with this opinion. If you want to try one of her books again, try her adult romances ✨️😊🌷
@@vivienne7415 oh no! That’s the one people rave about! I do think that’s the case for me here with YA vs adult. Perhaps the high school scene just isn’t it for me. Like they need more nuance and to be rooted in truths of today. I’ll take a look at her adult romances. Do you have one you recommend or liked the best?
*Reading that first book was a fever dream.* Please let me know your favorite book (romance or not), so I can add it to my TBR! Thanks for stopping by :D
I bought an XL shirt at at Kohl’s because it’s the same size as my other M shirts. I swear it must have been a typo on the tag because they’re all the same size but some say XL and some M 😂
@@stellaangle8714 SEE THATS WHAT IM SAYINGGGG! That happened to me at the thrift where I saw an XL skirt and I’m like….for a child? 😭 I guess that’s why someone returned it .
FRIENDS I found a dupe of the skirt on Amazon. This is the link and I’ll put it in the description too: amzn.to/3XgTtF2 Let me know if you’re curious about any of my other outfits.
