The ending sucked because the final season was all the wedding, then they bullrushed the time with the mother just to squeeze in Ted going back to Robin in the end. That being said, the journey of the whole show put together was fantastic and shouldn't be brushed off because the destination was kinda lame. After all, life is a journey, death is the destination.

I don't understand how the show is called himym,the whole show is built on ted and Tracy's story just to end with Tracy dying and Ted getting back with Robin? They could've just her live. And because Robin couldn't have babies, they could've let one of Barney's one night stand(who didnt want to keep the baby) before Robin give birth to his kid so that him and Robin could've had their own family. This was my ideal ending. But even if Tracy dies, they shouldn't have let Ted get back with Robin. They really forced that one.. Maybe they were trying a Ross and Rachel scenario but worst ending for the show.
Used to go to chargers training camp in San Diego for years. I remember SM would stay after practice and sign autographs for all the kids that were there. He spoke to all the fans, was a real gentleman. I think I remember that about him more than his play on the field, a real quality individual.
I mean why would you practice with your teammates and play like it’s a real game. They say practice like you play in the game but that’s with non contact sports

I never played pro sports, only made it to d1 college ball. But i knew as young as middle school that you don't go game mode on the best player while in practice.
I loved the ending. That doesn't mean I think it was perfect. The montage rushed things. I wish they did a couple more episodes to extend that out and I think it would've played out better.
