I race mainly in LFM aka Low Fuel Motorsport on Assetto Corsa Competizione & sometime I go flat out in Dirt Rally 2.0. Expect 5 videos in a week, Wednesday to Sunday, at least that's how it is currently.. haha. Thank you for all the support. Cheers !! 😄

I'm going to admit this here. When I recorded this race I was already frustrated with the lap1 incident and the damage I had from it. On top of it the pedals issue and to add more to this... when I got pushed out by the Porsche and didn't get back the place, I started losing my cool. I do apologize for the constant flashing. It was frustration and heat of the moment. The Porsche driver and I had a chat later and it's all good. I don't lose my cool so easily but this was out of hand at the time. All good, more racing soon.. Cheers! 😄🙌

I noticed this in one of your previous videos but didn’t comment. Have you tried the max limit in ACC settings. I set mine at around 6-8% just to avoid this because it happened on my first pedal. Could try the same with pedal software. FYI- not sure where you’re from but I have a set of CSL Pedals w/ Loadcell willing to sell for reasonable price.
Hi mate, yea I have played around with the throttle limit / deadzone settings in game. The problem is the full inputs of the pedals. Even at 50% input, there seem to be input registering problems. Which pedal were you running in the past before upgrading to HV ? That’s interesting since you also experienced this issue. I am from Singapore… I really really appreciate it mate 🙌🙌 Sadly, the custom clearance and stuff here is a real pain in the head when it comes to importing… I’m however looking at a few options in my region itself for the load cell. Just need some time to figure out what’s the best option without breaking the bank.
I was using the CSL pedals before the HV Sprints TBH if you can afford it, go with the sprints. I think around 5-600$ for two pedals maybe less. Not worth it to go in between that price point. They are miles ahead of any other pedals i’ve used. The csl pedals were a cheap option but I never gelled with those like the HVs. before the CSLs i had the throttle issue with logitech g920 pedals
@@chickey31 Ahh G920... That makes sense why you had the issue. It falls in the same bracket as mine. Sadly we don't have HVs, so the next best options are Asetek, simagic, conspite, VNMs, Moza CRP & of course the very cheaper ones are T3PM from Thrustmaster.
@@SlicksandSlipstream I’d love an Azetek base - saw in a review their pedals are very good but very stiff. Not much adjustments. watch reviews first. Honest ones not paid. You’ll need a rig or fixed chair for a stiff pedal. Personally like stiff pedal. Simmagic has stepped up. I’d go with something adjustable. There are endless options on the HV for adjusting. Helps a lot. Plus feel good 👍

Their bundles go up to 2500$ & 1000$ for 2 pedals. I’ll also see if I can source HVs within my budget from any dealership.
You can try to set Maximum Limit for the throttle in ACC Settings, then for example even at 80% of physical pedal travel game will recognize it as 100% ;)
Hi mate. Yes I tried that one but didn't work as intended. The deadzones would've worked if the pedal was at least registering the input until 80 - 90%. It's broken so bad that even at 50% input it's not registering properly. The only time it doesn't flicker is when I stomp so hard that my knees start to hurt... I broke something trying to clean them after dismantling the pedals.

I think it’s based on ELO rating. It should be somewhere in the FAQs on their website. Whoa, 47th in Go setup GT3 div 1? Then you’re mad fast with way higher ELO.

I mean some could argue like it's just a few hundred or a thousand dollars to buy the pedals and rig.. Why complain about it... Yeah right, it's just that I did not expect the pedals to become this worse so quickly from the time I found it flickering a few months ago till now. Plus I live in Asian region where resale second hand market is extremely worse for these items if I want to sell at a later point in case I lose interest or can't spend time racing.
hey mate, sad news. Did you use the contact cleaner spray as I told you? Soak the pot with it with no fear. Believe me. It works. Use those cans labeled "contact cleaner" used for electronics. It is totally safe and makes wonders in the potentiometers
@jua288 Hi mate! I am so stupid for this one tbh. I was a bit careless when I dismantled the pedal set. There was like insane lot of dust tho & I cleaned it. But In the process, I am 100% sure I have messed up the wiring & broke it completely 😔 Now I’m anyway making a decision to upgrade the pedals and possibly go for a rig within the budget. Let’s finish this season & perhaps in the coming month or so I would be able to afford piece by piece 🤞For me, I have to think twice with a sudden investment like this & a large amount of it as well into a hobby. Hence looking back and forth 😅
@@chickey31 I have several options on the table at this point. Cheaper one is from Thrustmaster again. Either T3PM or TLCM 150 - 180$ A plus point of going to thrustmaster would be, I could mount it on the already existing pedal stand I have from TM. No rig needed. Other options include Simagic P2000 2 pedal or P1000 3 pedals with a decent priced rig (around 300$ rig) or Moza CRPs. Oh Sweet ! Great upgrade mate. Sadly there's no HV availability easily in Singapore or other Asian region herer. Appreciate it big time mate 🙌🙌Customs clearance is a big pain in the head for me.

Good racing mate, you seam to be a fixated on the lap 1 incident in the replay. I get that it sucks and it wasn't your fault but I don't think there's a need for the amount of angles you've covered of that one incident. I've only started getting back into this game recently, still using controller until I can get a rig for my wheel and pedals.

@@SlicksandSlipstream Ah yeah the controller can be tricky, the main difficulty with the controller is the vibration you get from typical racing games when you are loosing traction isn't the same in ACC, or maybe I just haven't setup my controller properly lol.

Looks we’re on the opposite end of the spectrum here 😂😂 I’ve been wanting to race in the rain. Don’t care if it’s slight rain or flooded track… Driving bimmer in wet is insanely fun. I’ve had one race & it rained in the final 2 minutes. Rest of them were dry and sunny track 😭😭

Thank you for the support. It means the world to me & helps create all these videos 😄🙌🙌 I learnt yesterday that TC0 with the bimmer is way easier to drive than any other cars. I constantly spun with TC0 in the mcl & Porsche is out of question to drive with TC off 😂 it sure does make a difference, but for daily races I don’t think it’ll matter unless it’s a split 1 lobby with very close quali lap gaps.

If you haven't used WD40, use it. It can help with that flickering thing. Just spray it over potentiometers, let them dry out, clean them, and they will be good as new. It worked for me for both Logicet pedalls, and SRP Moza pedals.
@MarinkoSpasojevic Hi mate… I did come across some articles on a few forums who recommended WD40 but it was on heusinkvelds. But yes, I did use WD40 on mine a few days ago & apparently flickering issue was solved. Again it showed up a few days later. I disassembled the pedals to find the issue & may have broken something in that process & now the flickering isn’t going away… My only option is to buy a new set of pedals + rig to mount the load cell pedals. However, I’m going to try using the spray one more time so it can last for a few more months at least 🤞🤞
@@SlicksandSlipstream it worked for me every time. Of course, I sold both and now I am having SIMGRADE VX-Pro and no issues with potentiometers :) Anyway, the dust is the main cause of the flickering issue with potentiometers, so WD40 should help, just spray it goooood and leave it to dry.
@@MarinkoSpasojevic Simgrade VX pro, a very good choice of pedals indeed. I'm going to try vacuuming inside the pedal tray & spraying one more time over the weekend. I know it's certainly something with the wiring, but I'm being optimistic that WD40 should solve the problem temporarily.
Mate my first race at spa this week went like yours, i got 3 warnings after the end of lap1, managed to finish p2 but omg it was hard to survive and avoid that DT..... poor macca #23 classic mclaren low tc moment at the kurb , you did a mega race for someone who don't like to race at spa haha... I love this track ... That overtake you did last lap was clean haha GG

Getting warnings in the early stages of the race makes it interesting, but very stressful especially if the cars behind start catching up. Thanks bro 🙌👊 really not an enjoyable track for me after all the hot lappers have ruined it. Also if I had risked it a bit more, I’d have definitely ended up like the mcl 😂😂

I recently made the switch to the BMW from Porsche & mcl. Car feels great tho… For you it could be the BoP mostly. Because if you mainly drove the bmw for a while, you would’ve definitely mastered driving it.
Let’s say that rejoin was not the best but you got just wiped out 😂 poor Ferrari forced to pit and then the good old DT added to the end 🤣…. The Nissan did not like that dive bumb on him. Good pace you have . BMW looking sexy 🤣 McLaren much better haha 😂 Mate just do not care about Elo SR is much more important Now I have to catch up on the videos lot of them 😂

I was there in both 😄 That rejoin may not be the best, but the killed Ferrari did a very bad election of evading side. Was clear yor car was pointing to the right and was somehow predictible your movement out of the racing line. Anyway this is racing, those shits happen to all of us. Just learn from that and go on. Regarding ELO gaining milestones, from my experience, that makes you anxious. Just drive, focus on avoiding problems and enjoy. This is a really adictive entertainment. Hope to see you on track mate

3 days ago I hit a GTR in somewhat similar fashion, so it happens at times when racing close. But my rejoin move is something that shouldn't have happened in the first place. As a Silver+ driver it's a total embarrassment doing such rookie error 😐😐 I gotta be better than this ffs.
RBR is very fun track tho. I think there’s chances of making awesome overtakes everywhere around this track. T2 & if played properly then T1 is also a good corner. I also analysed the replay multiple times & I thought if the GTR didn’t spin, I’d have gotten very close, but doubt I’d have touched. Maybe I’d have bumped a tiny bit with how I was attacking the corner 😆😬😬

I run the default aggressive setup for all the races.. only change is max wing & one brake duct lower. In the past I’ve tried making my own setups but had very bad experience. If you’re looking for some stable setups, I’d recommend sky194 or the most popular setups from fri3dolf.
@@SlicksandSlipstream I use fri3df at the moment and his times are super fast. I can’t get nowhere near that. It’s nice to see that you can use the aggressive set up with a tweak and get good results. Keep up the good videos 👍🏼

Again, it’s not always easy for me with default aggressive because on some tracks it’s a nightmare 😅😰 Spa for example. It becomes so bad that I consider having these free setups just to make the car stable & be competitive. But I have problems adapting to anything new on the car, so I stick with default and race.
Hi, I see you gave up the Porsche and moved to the BMW. You seem comfortable. Is this a final choice or still being tested? I race a McLaren 720s and I would like to change to the BMW. What is your analysis of the BMW?
Hey mate! To be honest, I’ve picked 2 cars.. the bmw & Aston & have been driving them turn by turn. It’s just that I upload vids of races in the BMW only. Aston is a bit of hit or miss for me at times. I might stick to bmw if I cannot figure out my full potential in the Aston. To answer your second question, I’ve also driven the Mcl for a whole season or two in the past & it’s a good car if driven with 1TC or TC off. My move from Porsche to mcl, back to Porsche & then bmw was a bit strange to adapt. After driving the bmw for about solid 3 weeks now, I think it’s a very competitive & stable car and is easy on the throttle as well. Definitely has a bit more top speed compared to the mcl tho. I have a problem with the understeer sometimes, as the nature of front engine cars. Coming from mcl, you’d have to change the driving style a little bit. Mostly in terms of braking & corner exits. Also, bmw handles most of the kerbs very well so that’s also a plus point. Another pro is having advantage over the 296, 720s & 992 but the con would be struggling to keep up with fords & Astons on the straightaways.

Be a lot cooler with every race like this 😢 Unfortunately, it don’t go that way for the most part. 99% of the times either of the cars end up in the wall 😂 Rare occasion when both cars have enough space to make it through the corner 😁🙌 it was super fun tho.
good opening lap . the aston broke to early , the nissan tried to avoid twice but turned to early for the apex and lifted of the break to much , you had no where to go , but good racing you recovered well

Great driving after that miss at turn 1 in lap 2. You bumped into the GTR because he bumped into the one in front of him… Why were you flashing the Ferrari at the end?
