Great stuff Brett, thanks for sharing. One question: When you start the session we see the model enter her details like name. Whats your workflow there, entered in Capture1Pro/Lightroom? And then starting a new sesion for each person? Thanks in advance and keep it up!
@Brettflorens

Thanks - I enter all their details into ActivCampaign - my CRM where I enter the reference number of the client before shooting the next one :)

Have you used it more for concert photografy? When shooting stills do you get banding on the shows with led lights? Or is it working ok?
@Brettflorens

Yes and it's fantastic. I don't shoot over 1/200 and don't get any banding

I enter the details right into my CRM, it tags their department and other details. This is in ActivCampaign The time that they enter their details match up to their images and I rename them manually

Rushing through tasks can lead to overlooked details, compromising customer satisfaction and potentially causing long-term repercussions, emphasizing that prioritizing speed over quality is not always optimal.

@@Brettflorens It wasn't a critique of your skills, but rather an acknowledgment of the significance that a deliberate pace contributes to creativity and human connection, particularly in portrait photography. Working with celebrities on portraits is a frequent part of my job, and it can be disheartening when I realize that more time would allow for an even better outcome.

Nice video with the softbox was stunning. It seems for larger families the best option would really be multiple speed lights sun behind or just lift shadows in edit?
@Brettflorens
@Brettflorens Год назад
Spedlights in daylight won't have much effect - they are around 50w/s and this Quadra is 400w/s - so 8 times more powerfull than a speedlight. The off camera flash would be the best option for a family. Lifting the shadows in post is a last resort. Thanks for the comment

Can you do the 120 frames per second with a manual macro lens? I cannot get my z8 to play back slow motion. I am not sure if it is recording in 4k 120.
@Brettflorens
@Brettflorens Год назад
Yes, you can shoot 120fps with any lens and it doesn’t playback on your camera in slow mo. You need to convert the speed in post production
@philipgreenberg715
@philipgreenberg715 Год назад
Just FYI the Z8 does not do in camera slow motion processing in other words you could shoot 120 fr/second but then you have to put it in the computer to slow it down you can't send a file from camera in slow motion. Seems pretty stupid but that's how they roll
