Wow! Great tutorial and really impressive result. Thanks for a great tutorial. I'm sure that I willwatch it many times until I get it right. By the way, love the simple, elegant cake.
Hi Lynsey I am using your standard sponge mixture, with 6inch square tin how much should I fill the tin for baking. If I put in too much batter will it sink in the middle? Love your videos👍👍cheers Mike
It’s all about muscle memory, it looks like you can do it till you try the first time lol. You need to make dozens before you get your muscles trained. Same with piping
Hi thank you you are my go to person when it comes to looking for techniques making cakes. You always make the techniques look so easy and they work every time. I’ve been trying to work out how is going to make sequin cake for a wedding I was so relieved when I saw that you had a tutorial. Thanks again your cake creations are brilliant.
Thank you for the video was very helpful. I just recall you saying the cakes should have a board underneath going ontop of the dowel I'm referring to the second and third tier.. But it doesn't look like you have boards under them.. Perhaps it is the thin one? Can someone clarify for me please.
Very help ful video please help which butter is better to use in uk iam using margrine plant bace been recommended by some one but out come is not good wsit for your reply
Hi, for the butter I always like to use real blocks of butter. I've not actually tried the plant based butters and margarine. I think I need to pop out and get some to give them a try 😊. I always find that margarines are made to always remain soft, which makes them very hard to use for buttercream as they will never firm up.
Hello, thank you so much for your awesome video tutorial. Could I ask - how do you remove the final cake onto the white stand without any harm? Thank you for sharing.
