Monterey Bay Whale Watch offers year-round whale watching trips to observe the spectacular diversity and abundance of whales and dolphins inhabiting the Bay. Monterey is the best place in the nation to view a variety of marine mammals and seabirds. The Monterey Submarine Canyon approaches close to the shore, allowing deep water species of whales, dolphins, and seabirds to occur near the coast. Shallow water species, such as the gray whale, are found very close to shore in the narrow shelf region.
I just came from watching a video of 75 orcas attacking and killing a blue whale, and now, a gray one? What? Are there no more white whales in the ocean other than the ones on the beaches of Florida, USA, soaked in sun-tan lotion?
It's astonishing that people still go see captive orcas in California when there are so many wild orcas right off your coast! Beautiful footage from MBWW as always! :)
If Killee Whales are trained, they are very loving creatures. I saw a video where a killer whale was being released back into the ocean, and it spotted a child and wanted to play. I thought it was so adorable; but any and everything is fair game in the ocean world.
Killer Whales, the annoying teenage bully, wannabe gangsters of the sea. I know they've gotta eat and natures tough but attacking other whales..... Not fucking cool, trouble is,I think I love everything they eat, seals, dolphins, penguins, other whales. Natures harsh sometimes, brutal.
Poor Baby Whale 🐋 getting killed by Killer Whale 🐳 this is just so sad 😭 I wish this Whales 🐋 would fight back so they don’t treatend by killer whales 🐳
The orcas were relentless, but at least they played that calming music for the gray’s, and probably vocalized some inspirational messages to the dying whales as well. You can see and feel the compassion, and many other human emotions.
