Ok a short run down. We’re Mathew and Allie. Two travel nurses from California! When we’re not in scrubs we’re either backpacking, snowboarding or traveling the world. This amazing life started around 6 years ago. Coming from a pretty small town, it always feels like a blessing to be experiencing so much. Meeting people, breaking barriers, learning other cultures, and growing along the way! How it started?? Well 2-week vacations a year got old really fast. The goal was a month. We laugh when we think back but seriously that was the goal,1 month! We did Japan. Then it was 2 months in the Middle East. Then 3 months. Little by little we worked our butts off and took mini sabbaticals! Fast forward to now, we are taking a year off to travel throughout Asia! But this time we’re documenting everything along the way. So if you like food, nature, easy laughs, and chill vibes join us on the journey and let’s learn together!
Those mangrove shots are bomb. Also most western tourists dont like Filipino food as much compared to the cuisines of other southeast asian nations; somehow you two do...could it be your latino? heritage--since the Philippines adopted a more Spanish palate and foods (heavier, greasier, sweeter) from their colonization.
Thanks! Landing was sketchy for sure but worth it! Haha Filipino food is so bomb! But yeah we’re both Mexican/spanish decent. My favorite is the local eateries where you just pick from a handful of local dishes!
The smuggling fee to get past the first checkpoint is 300k dong! Around 12 USD. I was encouraged by the locals to just ride out early and I'll be fine but I was still stressin lol. Thanks for watching!
There's no Rattlesnake in Philippines though but there are plenty of Philippine Cobra s, King cobra ,Samar Spitting Cobra and Temple pit vipers ,.In the mountains there are plenty of Temple pit vipers that you need to watch out for..
This family vacation had so many funny moments! I really enjoyed creating this video! It’s a little different from our usual videos but overall, it still captured the essence of moalboal just with a little more added characters!😂😂

Oh man if you were with me you would laugh at my lack of motorbike skills lol! But you gotta check out ban gioc waterfall. I wasn’t sure if it was worth the long ride but after seen it person wow. Def worth it. So surreal that we made it. Thanks for watching!

Yeah lol. They wanted 2million. I tried to negotiate bc it’s suppose to be 1.5. It didn’t work. I paid. Walked out. Was about to ride off. Then they called me back in. Gave me 500k back. Idk why and off I went. lol
