I really prefer when Brian plays this using the open Triad chords, the way he originally wrote the song. The A in first position on an acoustic never rings out quite right. The sus chords sound fine in the position but the way he let the open strings ring in his original writing of the song lends an entirely different layer, especially on an acoustic guitar.

Ohh I like this song, so powerful, acustic version is beautiful, esepcially from the movie because how it sounds so electrified and grunge to. It is not easy job to make a good song, so when I think of this movie I always remember this song and We All Die Young from Steel Dragon, vocal -Michael Matijević, long time ago my croation neighbor and Kenny Kanowski who was member of band.

+ricjai Donne Lee. The tune name is Donna Lee written by Charlie Parker, the inventor of bebop. He is also from Kansas city like Bobby Watson is.
@fullmoon7192
@fullmoon7192 7 лет назад
*@ Ben Saylor* I tip my hat to you sir for correct info on the tune title and its composer but, that thing about Charlie Parker being "inventor of Bebop" (?) is pure bulshit. Every style in music (and jazz is not exception of that) gradually evolved from what people played earlier. There was no such thing as sudden inventing of Bebop, Cool, Fusion or whatever came after that... Please educate yourself before you make such nonsensical statement ever again, especially publicly and in writing.

you obviously do not know what you are talking about. Bobby Watson is one of the most respected saxophonist in the jazz community. yes charlie parker is most likely the best but calling BOBBY WATSON LAME is crazy... you dont see people writing on your videos "it goes to show what a genius Bill evans/ chick corea/robert glasper (just to name a few) __ years have passed and the lame player in this vid sucks bals" and you aren't even relevant to the jazz community. sorry your comment pissed me off
