Three things that will last forever...faith, hope and love. And the greatest of these is love. 1 Cor 13:13 We just don't know the power within these three deep and meaningful things. Until we mix as much faith that binds everything together as possible
We as christians arent meant to save every single person on the planet. It wouldnt fit biblical prophecy. We are to plant seeds inside others and God sends others to water and He grows it. Majority will sadly die and end up in hell. Thats just how it is. Do what you are supposed to do and dont worry about the growing or watering unless you are called to water that seed
No theology No soteriology No ecclesiology No Christology No apostolic succession No valid Eucharist No talk of Repentance No talk of forgiveness No ancient hymns Tell me you're a heretic without telling me you're a heretic
I believe that! After 25 years with my spouse, I can see his darkness. He has been so time consuming. I always put him first. Not anymore. God is first and I Am second. 🙏
Is it judging or is it love when you tell someone they are sinning? Maybe the church should just tell them everything is going to be alright until it’s not?
The idea is this: God loves you the way you are, He just doesn’t want you to stay that way. Let’s get them to Jesus first, which includes repentance, and then help them see their error/sin. Since we’re only righteous through the blood of Jesus, and all of us have fallen short, it’s a first things first approach. Sin isn’t more important than love. The closer we get to Jesus the less we sin.
The Bible clearly says to spread the word of god. That’s how you get people to come to church as well. If everyone kept their religion to themselves the religion wouldn’t be known
I have a question. Why is faith considered good? instead of considered a lie powered by your own wants? If you don’t have evidence, then isn’t only the thing that’s left, is you really really really wanting the thing to be true? Thanks for the responses. Oh and real answers please. No answers like, you just love your sin, or pray God opens your heart, these are lazy answers that are not even close to being true. Thanks again.
Hebrews 11:1-3 says that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. Faith isn’t defined by our own wants, that might be clearer defined in today’s culture as “manifesting” (not faith). Faith would be defined as faith in Jesus and what He wants for us defined in scripture. Hope that helps in your quest for understanding.
When I left home after high school graduation, I didn't have a job, very little savings. I moved 6 hours a way to go to college. My parents were poor. They were hoping I would be successful. I was incredibly lonely. I found a job but had no car. Finally was able to buy a 1972 Plymouth Volaire, transmission was bad. Finally the transmission went bad. I was so lonely. I was so down. I missed my family so very much. I was doubting my ability to do this. I prayed. I prayed so very much. A girl I went to school with said she would take me down to a car dealer. I found the cheapest new car, a Toyota Tercel, 4 speed. Cheapest car at the time. I could afford to make the payments with my job. But I couldn't secure the loan on my own. I prayed. My parents couldn't help me. They still had 3 more kids to take care of. I had just talked to my aunt. She was financially capable to help me. I asked. Her husband didn't want to. He had already been burned. I begged. Please. I prayed. I told God that I need this. Please, I can't do this on my own. The next day my aunt called and said yes they would help. I promised they would never make a payment. I promised to not tell anyone. My aunt and her husband took a chance. I was successful. I made EVERY single payment on that car. I finally graduated college. First on both sides of my family. When my aunt passed, at the funeral I told everyone what she and her husband did for me. Thru them, God helped me.
It is written, “have you of little faith?” I myself have casted out many demons. He is not referring to straight up exorcisms. All of that is possible, depends on how strong your faith truly is. With little faith of course you wouldn’t be able to do these things because you don’t truly blindly and fully trust in God. “Through God nothing is impossible.” I’ll be praying for you. That the good Lord enters your heart. “Blessed are those that believe yet have not seen.”
It is written (I’m paraphrasing), that whosoever shall lose their life in the name of the Lord shall gain everlasting life. Do not fear to lay down your life for the Lord. I have a wife and a family being planned but if the day shall come that I have to lay it all down for the Lord I will abide and do as He says. Blessed is he that dies for the Lord. Do not fear. All glory to God. In Jesus Christ almighty name amen.
@@isaiahe1408It’s also written that when I die, based on my life choices and actions, I will enter a new stage of the cycle in which I’m reincarnated as a higher or lower form. It’s also written that whoever dies goes to Hades to be sorted among the dead. Now consider, these are equally plausible theories to yours.
@@jarjargod5127 source? I never once have read anything along the lines of that. The Bible makes it very clear there’s only 2 things that can happen after we die.
Add a millions of people Jesus could have chose he chose 12 men. And they're not special? You might want to do some research on early Christian church, who did the apostles pass down their Authority to? Other deacons and bishops. There's been a line of succession from the apostles to the Orthodox church since 33ad
There was nothing special about them when they were chosen, they were just willing to follow Jesus... Willingness to follow can be more important than being special... Won't do any good no matter how special you are if you won't follow...
@@luiscristales3647 it's just because of their unique and and specific qualifications that Christ chose the 12 men, who were predestined to be the apostles. That's like saying Moses wasn't special, he just decided to hear the word of God LOL and if they were not special why didn't Jesus choose and ask people to follow him at the sermon of the mount and choose them to continue his church, he did not. In fact he specifically chose Peter and told him on this rock you will build my church, he wasn't speaking to all the apostles. So even within the 12th chosen, hence the show chosen LOL he was chosen by God and His special and unique in that sense. We are all chosen to follow christ, some of us are uniquely challenged do you have a deeper relationship which causes us to be closer to Christ and live in his way deeper.
What is this accepting Jesus into your heart business? I don't read that anywhere in my Bible. I am saved for almost 50 years and it's all because I believe in Jesus Christ death, shed blood, burial, and resurrection and I put my trust in that and that alone for the forgiveness of my sins to be saved. Accepting Jesus into my heart, never did that and never will. I'd rather be saved.
@@pastorjamesboyd Neither of those verses say anything about accepting Jesus into your heart. You're making up a salvation message that does not exist. May I suggest to you that the gospel that Jesus gave to the apostle Paul for us to be saved today, is the gospel of the grace of God. That is, to believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross shedding his blood was buried and rose from the dead and only when we put our trust in that and that alone are we saved. There is no such thing in the Bible as accepting Jesus into your heart. Don't you see that it is the cross work of Jesus Christ, his bloodshed and his resurrection that saves us once we put our faith in trust in that and that alone. Telling someone to accept Jesus into their heart will not have their sins forgiven nor be in heaven for eternity and will not be saved
@@pastorjamesboyd So with all that said, I have a question for you. Someone comes up to you and says I wanna be saved, I want my sins forgiven and I want to know that I will be in heaven for eternity. What will you tell them?
My life belongs to him and took me 50 years to finally understand he never gave up on me, I like I did. Thank you Father fir your only begotten son, Jesus, who died for ne so that I may live. ❤ Amen
Blessings? Like money and things? Don't see any of that listed in Fruits of the Spirit. Most believers in the world are trying to figure out how they can feed their families right now. Most of us don't own a home and lots of us don't have a car. And we are the tithers!! What planet are you living on? Where are all these wealthy Christians? I don't know a single one. Except pastors. I'm lucky. My pastors are ok finacially but they aren't rich by any means. Any extra they get goes towards the Kingdom. I call that leading by example!
