Thanks, if I remember correctly you were in split 2 as well, right? The race was a lot messier than I expected, and a lot harder to make any overtakes done.

It's a very old video, I do use T300 wheel nowadays. But Dirt Rally was pretty keyboard friendly game. Took some practice and the margin for error wasn't large, but the car still behave quite predictably, so it wasn't a problem on keyboard. At least AWD, the older RWD cars were difficult.

@@L0CALDRUGMAN If you like rally, I'd say yes. The handling is ok and the stages are fantastic. Technically it's not amazing, but for the stage design it's worth it. It is very similar to WRC 8+9 though, so if you have either of those, don't expect much difference.

Zkoušel jsi vlézt přímo do hry? I když nainstaluješ vlastní livery, v náhledech ve hře je na jejím místě vidět ta originální. Náhled se změnit nedá, musíš si pamatovat, kterou originální livery jsi nahradil a ve hře je na jejím místě ta modnutá.

Máš tu livery nainstalovanou v mod manageru? Musíš ji rozbalit do podsložky "mods", v mod manageru zvolit livery, kterou budeš chtít nahradit, a nainstalovat tu novou.

Tak to je divný, pokud se to v mod manageru tváří funkčně, mělo by to fungovat i ve hře. Poslední věc, co mě napadá, je nastavení správný cílový složky hry v nastavení mod manageru. Ale bez toho by ta custom livery asi ani nainstalovat nešla. Kdyžtak zkus jinej mod manager, na racedepartment najdeš třeba ještě "deLivery", ačkoli to jsem nikdy nezkoušel. Princip bude podobnej. Zkusil bych si ale ještě pohrát s tímhle, protože fungovat by to mělo a podle mě jsi někde něco přehlídnul, nebo ve hře volíš omylem neomodovanou livery či tak něco.

Nejjednodušší je použít nějakej livery manager. Zajdi na racedepartment.com, zkus tam vyhledat třeba "DiRT Rally Mod Manager", pak jen stáhnout příslušnej potisk, kterej chceš použít, a nainstalovat podle návodu, kterej u toho mod manageru někde bude. Ten mod manager mimochodem musí bejt spuštěnej s admin právama. Týká se to pochopitelně PC verze, na konzole nic podobnýho nejde.

Hi, sorry for a late answer, I am using normal keyboard, not a mechanical one. Dirt Rally is actually quite keyboard friendly, if you avoid Group B cars and stuff like that.

+ALEX20hoc It's not that bad, you just have to turn off traction control and stability assists, be sensitive with a handbrake and have good timing (which is usualy my problem):).

+panvlk it was pain for me, cause i tryed playing on keyboard after steering weel with weedback, keyboard mostly doest forgive mistakes, cause wheels turning left and right very slow compare to SW

Yeah, it's very hard to correct oversteer and stuff like that with a keyboard. I never had a decent wheel, so I've played racing games on keyboard since forever. I am currently trying to learn how to drive on gamepad, but it's a struggle and I still find keyboard easier, despite its obvious shortcomings.

+ALEX20hoc Interesting thing is, on keyboard I prefer outside camera, while on a gamepad I am actually better with a cockpit camera. Still not sure why that is.:-D

+Gatto Buono Thanks. I usually keep the music as it's a part of experience in many games. But it's true music here isn't all that good and the loop can be a bit annoying.

I see you have some gameplay of Takedown. Is it worth 4,99 euros? (on Steam). It's got a lot of really bad reviews, but is it really that bad from the point of view of someone who loves tactical fps'?

+Gatto Buono I had some fun with it, but it has its problems. The maps themselves are very well made, as is the weapon balance (including environmental penetration by larger calibers etc), but the enemy AI oscilates between wallhacking sharpshooters and idiots, the friendly AI isn't much better and there isn't a lot of commands as it's designed for coop (that not many people play nowadays). It is very challenging, but not always in a good way. Personally, I got my share of fun with it for few euros, but I can imagine not everybody will.

panvlk Okay, thanks for the info. I'm replaying Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 (PC version) right now. I'd forgotten what a great game it is, and really tough too. Such a shame that this genre is almost dead. I'll definitely pick up a copy of Epsilon though. :-)
