Just brilliant. My mum used to be a teacher and she used the script of this sketch to do a lesson on people's different dialects and ways of speaking by just giving the students the script and asking them who they thought was talking before showing them this clip.
The thing I love about these sketches is that it's a subtle, ironic nod to history...and film portrayal. It's funny because we've been led to believe that the classic RAF pilot in WWII was indeed a toff - clipped accent, received pronunciation - but that's only because the actors who played them in the movies were posh. Most were middle or even working class (not to mention the Canadians, South Africas, Kiws, Aussies...and the Poles and Czechs.)
The smell is like a classic stink bomb, like rotten eggs intensively! But a superb dish if you can handle the stench of rotten corpses. Just superb :) (I'm Swedish and haven't befriended with it yet but, have had a taste though...)
I wanna hold you hand Oh, if I can just be your man I wanna be you friend Not now and then But until the end I just love the way you act And that's a fact I wanna be your number one So picture that
@@PeterKarsten unfortunately this was over 10 or so years ago....wouldn't/ couldn't be done now like so many other things...because, you know....'cancel culture and PC fascism' ...like when you start banning shows like Fawlty Towers and films like Grease, you know society is run by lunatics
Please tell me what's the name of this show? I watched it yesterday and saw a really interesting dish that I want to cook. But I was high and forgot everything. Please help me find this episode!!
Thanks for the upload, keep up the good work!!! I think that you deserve way more views. Did you know that you could use SMZeus . c o m!? You could use it to promote your videos!!
I found out recently that this was written just shortly after the infamous Python "trial by TV" where they were interrogated and lambasted by smug self-righteous "Christians" who, of course, hadn't seen the film they were attacking, which makes the satire all the more pointed. There are some actual direct quotes PS: the coincidence of matching initials is brilliant!
