This shop is located on the beach road of Patong Beach. Everything is more expensive here than in other areas of Patong. That's why this shop is so pricey. You can find much better prices at other places not far from this one.

Hello Sir, maybe you can assist me please. My name is John from Australia I'm 75. The questions :- 1. I can get on a plane in Australia to depart to Thailand Arrive in Bangkok Airport and go through Customs / Immigration etc. and all I need to present to the Officers is my Current Australian Passport. 2. I have no need to produce documentation to the Officers regarding where I will be staying in my Tourism period. ( Please note been to Bangkok 8 times ) 3. Do not have to show my return Air Fare Ticket. 4. Do I have to pay any Fee to Enter Thailand ( Suvarnabhumi Airport ) 5. Do I need to apply in writing to someone about = Visa Exemption (60 Days)
Hello! If you come with just a valid passport, you will get 60-day stamp without any paper work. Usually it goes without any additional questions. But by the law as a tourist you must be ready to show: 1) Your booking of your place of stay, 2) Air ticket from Thailand (return ticket) 3) 20000 THB cash or equivalent amount in your national currency. In 9 of 10 cases they don't ask. But I advise having it prepared, at least 1 and 2. No additional fees are asked.

That's 4300USD.....I pay for my Villa which is by far more better and newer 1300USD....but not in overpriced Phuket.... with all side and living costs in Phuket they will spend at least 6500USD.... better rent a home far from Phuket and if you like Phuket you can make Holidays there for little money during low season.
@@AlteroThaiHua Hin....I know it's not to compare with Phuket but the Villas there are by far better and affordable. The climate is better, there are better possibilities to reach other parts of Thailand in a short time (BKK 2.5hrs, Khao Lak our favorite for Holidays in 8 hrs) ..... after 35 yrs traveling Thailand, Hua Hin was our best and most affordable choice to retire with 55 yrs old in Thailand
@@frankk.7977 Good choice and reasonable pricing! By the way, Kao Lak just in 1-2 hours from Phuket, and BKK is reachable by plane in 2 hours. But I must agree that in Phuket it is not easy to find new and not expensive villas. Anyway, as a single, for last 16 years I rent a room and feel all good! 😄
My Luxury 3 bed 2 bath, European kitchen(big), living room, nice green garden (with no insight 2m high, 3x7m salt pool, 2 terrace, car port, security, incl. 2x gardener/pool boy 1x pest control, 4x shuttle daily is 45k....I live there with my wife(not Thai😊)
I also think it's too much, so I’m glad that I'm not the only one who think so. He is not the first year in the business (he has many villas for rent). He knows the market, and he has no problems to get clients who can afford it and think that the price is just fine.
I don't have any experience of durians outside Thailand. Still, I'm in love with these 'tasteless' local durians. So where do you think durians that actually got taste?
"Exotic" and "topshelf" are bullsh** marketing language for tourists. 2500 baht or $69/gram is the worst price I've seen yet in Thailand, like paying $300K for a Honda Civic. If they're charging these kinds of prices then by default I distrust their COA results
@@AlteroThai Nope. I saw it today in a YT video on a menu a man was holding up for people passing by a weed shop (you know, the same thing they do outside restaurants). It's absolutely insane. It just shows you people are making up these crazy prices...let's see how much these ignorant tourists will pay. there's little or no economic basis, price gouging

Me too! I wish I can taste many other sorts of durian, as here in Thailand there are not so many. I guess you have a huge variety in Indonesia! Which sort can you call your favorite?
@@AlteroThai Too many, my friend. Indonesia has 5 big islands and each of them has a big variety of durian. Even the smaller islands have them. Really love Petruk and Red Durian from Java, Cumasi and tembaga from Sumatera, and many more. Malaysia has many delicious ones too. Not too many varieties, but most of them are really really delicious. You should try Malaysian Musang King and Black Thorn.

The best exchange I found was at the beach road end of the street from Otop or Hooters but at the beach end of the road as you look at the beach it was on the left. Best rates but that was 5 yrs ago. We are going next week. Yeehaa
Thank you for your feedback! As I remember, that exchange shop didn't have the best rates when I checked it last time. But I think it's not written in stone, and it can differ from time to time. So when you come, maybe that place will be again the best.
