Good Afternoon Sir. Thank you for your assistance herein. I have no background whatsoever in quants. What can one do to prepare for this and stand a decent chance of passing? Can one bypass this quant section during the GRE test?
Dear Omar, thank you for the information you are providing. Look, I have never been great in mathematics and I am sweating gallons because of the daunting prospect of being tested on quants. Can one bypass this or maybe have a less emphasis on this in your chosen test?
Dear Justin, thank you for the information. My biggest worry is this quant section. I was never great in mathematics and having been avoiding it all my life. I am really anxious about the daunting prospect of having to dabble in equations, fractions etc on test day. Can one avoid these or have some way to get around it please?
Great content as always! You probably was inundated with questions regarding the recent percentile changes to the GRE, specifically in the Quant section. The problem is that when reaching out to the MBA programs, they cant give a solid answer as to whether they will just look at the scaled score, or look at the score plus percentile. On the websites to most of the MBA programs, they will list the average score per section from the previous class but they don't list anything regarding percentiles. Should a student retake the GRE if their quant is below the 70th percentile? My quant is a 163 which is now in the 63rd percentile.
My question is how will business schools or grad programs evaluate the test score? Most schools have not updated their averages. So let's say student A took the Shorter GRE and scored a 163 quant. Student B took the long version of the GRE and scored a 163 quant. Will business schools evaluate the scores evenly? How will that impact the score weight the schools are using?
You will have to cut out more than "happy hour"s, you will barely have time to eat, and barely have time to shower. When do you grocery shop and do chores? on the weekend,
Thank you so much for this 😢 I'm struggling currently. I gave my First Attempt in Dec 2022 & scored 296, after 4 months I reattempted & received 299. Took GRE today and received 304. 6 months progress & only 8 points increment. I want to get a decent score to apply to good Universities. 😭 I'm not sure what shall I do.
