Great edit. Janky turbo setups always cause grief. I had a bush basher i could only drive for 10mins at a time because i put a mad looking turbo on it. Sold it and bought one with a stock motor and been thrashing it for 4 years no issues

why would you turbo it... youre literally doing an endurance race and you make the engine less reliable lol. then the engine breaks during the race lol. should have just rebuilt the engine new seals new timing belt new piston rings clean injectors and set the timing on the distributor perfectly. literally would cost ~$100 in parts, the only obstacle is having the tools and equipment and time and space to do it all. putting a turbo on this engine is dumb to begin with, there is literally a 4a-gze option designed for boost but youre boosting the NA version which has higher compression and weaker connecting rods. literally all you had to do was maintenance and you would have had 1st place easy. maybe weld in some baffles in the oil pan.
What I would built if I was able to compete in this madness: A VW Beetle with an v8 in the front of the car, a Oldsmobile Tornado rwd with the powertrain from an old BMW 7-series and an unmodified Reliant Robin.
The best videography I have ever seen on a home film. Hands down. The only complaint I could have would be unmotivated lighting in the hostage scene untill the window light is shown. But the fact that was the biggest deal means it was very well done. The film was amazing in every respect. If y'all still know each other, you should totally make a drug stopper 2!
