So , your HD truck in shop 20 plus times in last 2 years....why are you doing this video ??.? I would be so pissed on ford ...yet you make a thorough review.....why dont you dump your truck, and stay with this one! Better yet...let's see your HD F150! Did the dealer loan *wink wink* , only if you did positive review. As I said, I would be pissed, not doing a review so calmly. BTW, I gave a 2018 xlt 3.3 with 201a package. Differential bigger...hence towing pkg upto 7000. Like my truck, but love this color.
@@daver2964 That Super Duty was super frustrating. There were plenty of moments I wasnted to burn that truck to the ground. Like when it stranded me in a snow storm in Omaha because the drivers door would not latch shut. That was fun. My dealer always gave me free loaners while they did their best to fix this truck. Yet I never got anything for free or any deals on financing or my next vehicle. I have had great luck with Fords over the years and that one was just a bad bad truck. I traded it in on a 2020 F350 6.7 Dually that was super reliable. I traded that in after about 70,000 miles when we stopped camping and got everything I paid for it back minus $15,000. It was an amazing truck that held its value really well. Now I’m driving a F150 tremor and have 45,000 trouble free miles. Thank you for the inquiry!
General Grabber AT/X Great tire, unless you get the defective ones which wear immediately. They don't accept responsibility for defective products. Out $1200. and buying replacements @ 15,000 miles.
@@Walker-D77 This was my third set with good luck. I usually buy from Tire Rack and if there is a problem they will help resolve it. Plus they usually throw in a 2 year warranty with the tires. Just a thought that might help you down the road.
Dang Dude - you are such a Repeater. We are not ignorant. Don't have to be told the same thing 14 times. You took 15 minutes to say something that we can grasp in about 4 or 5 minutes MAX.
Put Cooper AT3 4S’s on my two Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4’s last year…good performance out of both sets, ride good, and in 4-wheel drive gets the job done here in mid-Ga in red clay, mud, etc. Just bought Cooper Discoverer Stronghold AT’s yesterday in 295/70R17’s with a factory $80 off set of four deal and they’ll go on my Dodge Megacab 4x4 tomorrow…not a lot of reviews out there yet and only a few vids on RU-vid about the Stronghold AT’s since they’re fairly new so we’ll see how they turn out. I like the tread pattern on these Stronghold AT’s.
Great questions. It was just me so the rig was not totally loaded down. Most of the time on this trip I was traveling with either a full load of freshwater or 2/3 load. I almost never drove in eco mode...I did a few times to sample shift logic changes but most of the time I was in regular mode/default mode.
@@AdventuringTodayAppreciate it. That was helpful. We have a 2022 TW pretty much stocked with food, tools and such. 3 trips around 6000 miles each, 2/3 Hwy, 1/3 mountains, hills and get around 12mph on 87 octane in Eco Mode except in mountains when I don’t use Eco. Love the Ford chassis and EcoBoost engine but coach not top quality. Can tell it was a Covid build. 😊 oh and I usually cruise around 68 mph. It has great passing power.
Looking at them for a Tundra. I know it's been 4 years. Three questions. 1. Did you buy them again? 2. Also, I rarely tow, so how did they handle when not towing (except for those squirrelly first thousand miles) ? 3. They E load rated which I probably don't need, so instead of the max 80psi, what do you run then empty? 45psi? Thanks!
Yes I would 100% buy them again especially on a heavy duty truck F250/2500 or above. They are a highway biased All terrain tire so they really do well on the highway. I would not let the squirrelly part of my comments alter your decision if you are not towing. I never experienced that when I was not towing. Any my trailer was heavy for my F250. I was probably a bit over payload when we were towing. I ran 60/65 when not towing. I did just buy some Toyo Open country AT3's for my F150 Tremor. This truck came with General Grabber ATX tires with a load rating of 116. The new Toyo's are E rated with a load rating of 125...probably the same as the Coopers load rating on the AT3 XLT's you are looking at. I do experience maybe a 3% harsher ride...I am probably over sensitive to it and most passengers would never know. I am running that 80 max PSI tire at 50 pounds and it seems to love that pressure. I would try the same with the coopers you are looking at. Hope that helps!
Great question...I just replace it. I never find much water in there but there might be other things trapped in the filter so for the peace of mind it's a good idea to change it even if you don't see any water.
Good question. They ended up replacing all 4 locks on my truck with some new updated mechanism. My son's 2016 has the same upgrade and his truck sits outside 100% of the time and has not had a problem, ever. We bought his truck 2 years ago and have put 50,000 miles on it. Like I say, no problems. I think Ford has this figured out now as long as the truck you are looking at has the fix applied.
We love ours, you have a couple extra hooks in the bathroom than we do but I installed a towel bar above the toilet and towel ring above the tp holder. BTW there is some sustantial storage you did'nt mention under the drivers side mattress.
We own the same coach and love it. Our first trip was 6,000 miles and 3 weeks round trip from CA to MI. We had the time of our lives and not a single issue with coach. It drives like a dream.
Can you show how to shut off & bypass water heater? The manual Thor gives us crap, so is their customer service. Not impressed with Thor. Needs leadership & training. I called in for the 24/7 held & they couldn’t even tell me where generator was. That’s just the start. Too bad Thor isn’t run by Elon Musk or someone that is competent.
This was a great no nonsense video. You did mention several things I have not heard in other reviews of this coach. Thirteen miles per gallon is pretty good. It seems that Thor has increased their quality standards.
