My wife and I are both 64 years old and we made it to the top this past April in about 70 minutes and about 75 minutes to get down using the Barr Trail.

Hi Trevor. Thank you for your hiking TRAILS video. I think you should do more of this kind giving helpful and actual info while you hike them. I think it is a great service for people like me who are not native to Colorado and would eant to hike alone. The markers you give and your actual videos showing which way to go and park are so valuable! I think you shoild title them in such a way that viewers actually know youd actually take the hike and give trail signs etc. I'm saving your videos done this way and use for my solo hiking trips. I'm such a rookie but a nature lover afficionado. I'm not that brave either so when you give info like "turn here" or "marker is here" and "walk a qaurter of a mile to take you back to the parking lot are so precious for rookie and solo hikers like me. Thank you. Please make more videos like these again.

Nice trail! Going to hike it in mid June of this year, for some endurance training before heading out to Glacier National Park, for 5 nights 4 days in July 2025. I am even considering going all the way to Mount Rosa peak. We will see how I feel doing this trail first. Do you run the incline too? I did it in 2017 and went back down from summit on the Barr Trail. The incline was no joke!! Wow…. That was the most intense cardio workout I have ever done for sure!✌️

Garden of the Gods is very cool. I was only there very briefly, but it's a very unique landscape right near the Rockies. I'd picture these types of rocks more in Arizona, but the more you learn. 😆

So I have a few questions: have you slipped at all in the winter, what kind of shoes or spikes do you use, if any? Is it slippery doing this?

My wife and I did this climb last month. Truly epic. Impressive view at the top. One of few trails where the social scene is off the charts. Everyone is cheering for each other and taking pictures at the summit.

That looks really cool. This is getting me excited for Pikes Peak. I can't wait to go up that valley on the Barr Trail. There's nothing better. I say I can't wait, but Pikes Peak says, "But you will." I've been watching for that snow to melt like a hawk.

How do you get to the North Return Trail from the top of the Incline? Is it part of the Ute Trail? How far is it?

Moving here from Hawaii and desperately trying to stay positive looking for hiking replacements for hikes like Olomana. This incline most closely resembles our Koko head hike, but then i see this snow and think, god ima die, my cardio fitness cant prepare me for this

One of my favorite trails. One of the best parts is stepping of the trail every now and then to see the waterfalls. You just have to go 30-50 feet.

I really dig these videos ! My son and I will be hiking pikes peak in late April, weather permitting, cant wait! I especially appreciate this vid with Goggins as his motivation has helped me start a health journey. On may 15th 2019 I was lying in a hospital bed 410 lbs being a severe alcoholic with a newly developed afib problem. I made a decision that day to change I am now 270 and have been sober since . I have found a absolute love for hiking and can really appreciate the content you produce. Thank you! maybe ill see on the trails sometime Aaron
