What’s Up Ryan, Im Not Educated At All On Filters… However, All My Video Content I Record Outdoords… I’m Looking For A Good VIR- ND Filter And A Circular Polarized Lens Filter … I’m Working With A Sony A6600 My Lenses Are: Sony E16=55mm 2.8 And Sony E15mm F1.4.. Thank You
I've used CPLs for about 5 years, mostly B+W (similar quality to Urth) and Nikon. The B+W filters I used in the past were very subtle, this was to reduce the loss of exposure while still giving some CPL benefit (reducing glare/reflections off glass/water and enhancing colour). They worked as they were supposed to, not quite as nice and pronounced as a regular CPL, but had only maybe 1/2 stop of light loss. The Nikon - which is supposed to be at least the same quality if not better - seemed to do no polarizing at all, no matter how much I spun the filter. It was more like a 1-2 stop ND filter in that it blocked light and did nothing else. It seems to me that CPLs are tricky things. If they work, they are great. If they are difficult to spin or don't have much effect, then its equally difficult to get anything other than light loss out of them. If your lens is too wide (10-16mm) then most likely you will hardly ever be able to use one, because of the angle you need the light to hit your lens. Funny thing about that.. it's nearly always the wrong angle for the photo I want at the time of day I want to take it.
Hi, would it be possible to have the ref or name of each tool please. I moved to an English speaking country and don’t know the specific vocabulary for each tool and machine to make frame and try sourcing them. Thanks a lot S
Ryan the piece you asked about on the joining machine is a spacer bar. I hope that helps. I have two pneumatic machines like that one. great video, Steve Anderson 42 years in the framing Industry, Currently in Albany, Oregon.
Nice bro!!!! Have you ever try taking photos in the water with this setting? I'm wondering if I'll mis my A7RII for the photos haha I know is not the same quality but you'll let me know. Cheers
Yo dude thank for this man! I have really bad beading of water straight away when lifting it out of the water so this might help solve that ( I use the spit n lick method) as loads of other water togs do and said it’s brilliant
Absolutely beautiful. Can you share from your experience what is the best way for you to stabilize these kind of shots at 4k120fps? Could use all the tips you can give.🙏🏽 Thank you for uploading this video.
