Blondie could've killed Tuco very easily, with either one of those Cannon blasts. But then, Tuco wouldn't have been around, to dig up the right Coffin, that had the Gold in it, now would he? In the end, after killing off the "Bad" guy, Blondie and Tuco found all of that beautiful Gold. Then, Blondie truly played that very cruel trick on ol' Tuco...then loaded up his half of the Gold, and literally left ol' Tuco hanging-At the end of that rope... just like old times! Tuco has his neck in the noose, his hands tied behind his back, and he's perched up on a Cross, looking down at his half of the Gold...and wondering what's going to happen next. Then, Blondie re-appears, and, with just one well-placed Rifle Shot, shoots the noose-rope in half, causing ol' Tuco to fall to the ground, his left jawbone smashing into a bag of those Gold Coins! But-With his hands tied behind his back, ol' Tuco yells at Blondie, calling him a bad name... just as the movie draws to a close. Now, all ol' Tuco's gotta do...is get his hands free, and he's good to go! He'll need a Horse, though..... Wonder where he'll find one at.... heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh!!
That was a horrible scene because tuko had a cap lock revolver with no caps installed on them even though he was wearing a gun belt that had cartridges on it! THE GUN WAS OBVIOUSLY EMPTY AND A REAL GUN SLINGER WOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT!!!!
That’s the whole point of the scene. Clint’s not afraid because he knows he only has to shoot ol angel eyes, versus the other two are nervous about having to worry about an extra guy.
