Bachus forte superans pectora virorum in amorem concitat animos eorum. Bachus sepe visitans mulierum genus facit eas subditas tibi, o tu Venus. Istud vinum, bonum vinum, vinum generosum, reddit virum curialem, probum, animosum. Bachus venas penetrans calido liquore facit eas igneas Veneris ardore. Bachus lenius leniens curas et dolores confert jocum, gaudia, risus et amores. Bachus mentem femine solet hic lenire cogit eam cirius viro consentire. Istud vinum, bonum vinum, vinum generosum, reddit virum curialem, probum, animosum. A qua prorsus coitum nequit impentrare Bachus illam facile solet expugnare. Bachus numen faciens hominem jocundum reddit eum pariter doctum et facundum. Bache, Deus inclite, omnes hic astantes leti sumus muntera tua prelibantes. Istud vinum, bonum vinum, vinum generosum, reddit virum curialem, probum, animosum. Omnes tibi acnimus maxima preconia te laudantes merito tempora per omina. Istud vinum, bonum vinum, vinum generosum, reddit virum curialem, probum, animosum.

I think of they're Lives back then, & how Death was an inch away by War or Disease. How they would be amazed by Our world today!! Of course, the War part never goes away. Or Diseases, but, it's a bit better than before!!

To say that a king did not do his duty to the kingdom because he spent his life on crusade instead of at home is pathetic. Should he instead have ignored the plight of Christianity and the will of god? Would you rather your leader stay at home when he has the ability to better the world at large? I don’t get it, some people measure a ruler simply by whether or not they provided “bread and games”.

Iudicii Signum: tellus sudore madescet. (Sign of Judgement: the soil drenched with sweat.) (From Heaven shall descend the King eternal forsooth incarnate, to judge the world.) Reicient Simulacra viri cunctam quoque gazam exurent terras ignis pontumque polumque (Men will throw away all idols and treasures also, fire shall scorch the Earth and, through sea and sky.) Inquirens, taetri portas effringet Averni. Sanctorum sed enim cunctae lux libera carni (Inquiring, break open the doors of Hell. Then light shall be given to the bodies of all the Saints.) Eripitur solis iubar et chorus interit astris. solvetur caelum lunaris splendor abibit (The Sun shall shine no more, the spheres' harmony cease The sky shall shake, the splendour of the Moon shall set.) (Every single king will appear And before the face of God From Heavens, a flood of fire and brimstone will pelt down.)

Petit i ai conquis, Mès bien me puis vanter: Que j’ai pièça appris A loyaument amer. Or pri Dieu de lassus Qu’à l’eure soie pris. ENGLISH TRANSLATION The love that holds me tight Compels me now to sing, As one caught in delight Who cannot change a thing. I’ve gained but little sight, Yet boast of what I bring: I’ve learned the love that’s right, To loyalty I cling. My thoughts to her take wing, And always will they light; I seek not to take flight. Her visage I recall, So fresh, so bright, so clear, Impressed upon my soul, I can but keep it near. If in pain I may fall, I’ll bear it without fear. Though errors may appall, To love her is most dear. Though I may pay most dear, Nothing have I at all But to beg mercy here. None sees a beauty truer In form or face so bright; No nature made one purer, More filled with beauty’s light. For her, I’ll be the doer Of deeds like in old rites Of Paris, famed pursuer, Eneas, Tristan’s plight. Her friend I’ll be outright. I pray to God, the wooer, To win her by His might.

ENGLISH TRANSLATION When I see these little flowers bloom And hear these singers singing sweet, I sing of the flower who in her room All beauty and all virtues greet. She is both queen and kingly heir, Rose of roses, flower most rare. Surely I love her, may God grant me That she instills good morals in me. The flower I sing is royal bloom, No other flower such good bestows. She is the orchard, she the room Where the Spirit rests and grows. She is the maiden imperial, Whom we call Mother of Christ. In her the Son of God did dwell, Took flesh and blood to save our lives.
