You can edit hair color and shape with just save editing, I don't remember using a lot of mods for Legendary. Just weapon balance, freecam and maybe some skins?
From what I read, the medi-pack is very hard to reach in the original game, but much easier in the remaster, due to improved textures. In any case, great job!
Not because of textures but because in original game the ladder isn't climbable, they forgot to flag it lol. The only way to reach it is either cheating with fly mode or a very specific set of glitches that involve stuff like pause buffering. TBH, just fixing the ladder is a better choice. It's one of VERY few non-graphical things they changed in original levels. Other is bugged bat and some pickups in TR1 and that broke achievements first lol.
I think I got most stuff in South Pacific too, I missed two items in TR3 in general, yeah one was in the dinosaurs level with ally falling down and I couldn't pick it up.
So what kind of mod is this exactly? I'm trying to understand what does this video try to show but apart from different outfit I don't see anything different
This is a full playthrough with mods, not one specific mod's showcase: Lara's face, hair & braid, costume, weapons are all changed, and there's a custom SweetFX preset that makes it more vibrant and less dark, I highly recommend adding eye adaptation .fx to any setup, I think spider cave would be next? It really gets... visible.
0:28 That ledge is not grabable because - if I do remember correctly - it is located at the base of an angled surface. It means you would immediately start sliding back down to your death anyway if you did manage to grab it (but the developers made it impossible because the engine probably requires the character to be on a flat, non-angled surface immediately after you grab a ledge with the intention to push yourself up and set foot on the surface perpendicular to the ledge). Now, granted I haven't played these games in what now feels like 400 years. But from what I remember it was probably never possible to grab a ledge at the base of any angled surface (specifically for the purpose of lifting yourself up from it to then stand on the surface, because otherwise you can for example just stay on a ledge that you grabbed by jumping if that ledge is, instead, used to just move Lara from side to side). I could be wrong though. I don't actually remember when in the series Lara could grab any ledge and stand on angled surfaces (probably not in the original 3 games, maybe; but I'm not 100% sure).
Hmm, nah, I am pretty sure she can grab sliding surfaces, even pull up to either slide down or immediately jump back... that's how you get second secret in first Greece level, for example. I think there might be an object in the way in this case. She can also grab the edge of a slide, then shimmy to the side until there's a flatter part isn't sliding her down in this game. Also that part isn't even a slide, she can stand there, the sliding part would be higher up... I am almost 100% sure this is because of the 3D grating being slighting in front of it, so it blocks Lara's collision with the protruding wall platform.
@@KasumiRINA Ah I see :) Very good analysis hehe. Pardon my old gamer brain, as stated it's been a long time since I last played the original trilogy. But it was a pleasure to watch a playthrough, brings me back good memories (I first played it on PS1, the first game that is). My favorite of the original trilogy was the third game from what I remember.
I'll post third Tomb Raider after this! Myself I seen someone play TR2 in a shop and after it was the first 3D game I played, parents got PS1 kind of late. I was stuck in first room with the tiger 🐅
