(5:25) Does Dr. Bluestein have a new truck? From it's front facia, that's 2023+ C&C RAM so it would have to have been recently constructed, but I haven't seen any thing about it.
These vehicles were built for different missions. This vehicle was built to get supercell shots for the Twisters movie, not to get a shot from inside a tornado. So it doesn't make sense to drag around several tons of plate steel anymore, but use something more nimble and efficient.
You have no idea how happy i am to see this video haha. My only real question is why a subura outback tho lol. Mod up a Silverado or gmc. Way more reliable and offroad capable.
@@skiptalbot nice! I remember first seeing him on the National Geographic Documentary Cyclone. Ever since I first watched that as a little kid, I knew immediately what I wanted to do when I grow up.
I know they dont like eachother, but i would love to see reed and sean chase togeather in the dominator and tell stories as they chased. I would pay money to watch that.
I honestly believe Sean and Reed's "beef" was propagated by the director's of Storm Chasers for dramatic purposes; they've probably long squashed whatever malice was present and could be good friends.
Did they downgraded this tornado because of lack of damage? It's 2024 and I notice on google maps there seems to be empty lots all along the path of this thing.
Yes, since it's strictly a damage scale and ultimately this tornado only inflicted EF3 level damage, it was downgraded to EF3. Several of the damaged houses in the tornado's path were later torn down and cleared from the lots.
Yayy it's Sean Casey, it's so good to see him out there again! I missed seeing him! I had to read the title twice because I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me, 😂 Stay safe and good luck!
i was 12 years old when i first saw Sean in Storm Chasers. I am 29 years old and it brings me the same joy right now watching this as i had back then. I was back to my 12 year old self for a bit there. Great seeing that Sean is back!
Sean was a massive part about what made Storm Chasers such an incredible show. All of the guys from there have held a special place in my life over the years, having carved out this passion for me which all of us share. I’m truly thankful for this video and to see he’s alive and well and still chasing. I’ve been waiting year after year to see him appear in the field in a video. Great chase
I agree with Skip about this being the time to choose action over prayer. And, praying later is fine. But, in my youth, I heard a preacher humorously say these are the situations you should be prayed ahead for. So, you can just focus on running when you need to.
How exciting hopefully he continues to be back in the storm chasing community more. Thank you for this video!! Brought back some fun memories of watching him. Stay safe and have fun❤❤
as a car guy i have to point out...why a subaru with them awful cvts? its like driving a slow rubber band...awd is good and other than that its a cool set up...
Ah yes good old sean casey back to chase some tornados. all though he might not be in the TIV anytime soon, atleast he can still get inside of tornados still
TIV 1: Abandoned on a central Kansas farm. Casey placed the TIV as a prize for a scavenger hunt, where the first one to find the TIV would be able to keep it. Wichita-based storm chaser Robert Clayton found the vehicle in 2020, after searching for it on Google Earth. Clayton is working on restoring it. TIV 2: In 2019, Casey listed the TIV 2 on Craigslist for 35K and it was later sold to storm chaser Ryan Shepard. The TIV 2 was fully restored and back on the road again for chases.. It is under sponsorship of Storm of Passion and Live Storm Chasers.
