I would have liked it to have been where Nigel's serum versus eskine serum was different. The one that Captain America took increased his strength to around 2,000 lb, but it increased his speed and durability and reflexes also his brain. His brain thinks faster and more clearly, and he's able to make advanced calculations and battlefield strategies very quickly. Has the serum Walker took? Should have increased his strength to about 10 tons making him quite a bit stronger than Steve, but yet less agile and his brain doesn't really think as quickly or as clearly either. So but he should also have thicker skin than Steve Rogers. So basically look at it this way. Steve Rogers can think faster and more clearly he can move faster. He's more agile has better balance and John Walker is more durable and stronger but less agile if that makes sense. That way the characters would still be on par with each other if they fought, but they wouldn't be dead equals they both have strengths and weaknesses
That's crazy I thought black belt was supposed to be undefeatable I thought one whisper and he can take the meat off of your bones even Thanos is too much for him like how much dick are we supposed to suck to make a Thanos this song
This was awesome! This showcased how truly powerful Odin was. He tanks energy blasts from the Silver Surfer AND Thanos and returns it with extra! I hope current writers of Thor's comic focus on his adventures in Asgard and with other pantheons of earth. Having Thor with Odin power fighting earth super villains seems such a huge waste.
I disagree with your conclusion is it quite clear that John Walker was already bigger and stronger than Steve before taking the serum. But you failed to mention, that the flag smasher chick was giving Winter Soldier and Falcon major issues, even though both have decades of military training and experience. It can than be safely assumed that through medical advancements the serum Carley had was an improved version of the original. If you combine a superior man with a superior serum you create a superior soldier. In conclusion John Walker is stronger.
They really did him bad in multiverse of madness. The sneeze was good for a cheap laugh but it ruined the character. I love the character too! Should have never done that.
Can I say that I hate how much Garth Ennis hate's super heroes. He is like a teenager who decided to make a comic book only and exclusively to show all his angry around the heroes. The only, I repeat, THE ONLY The Boys comic actually good super hero team is a completely joke. It is like Garth screaming "JESUS CHRIST, ALL THESE "GOOD" SUPES ARE RIDICULOUS!!! I HATE EVERY SINGLE SUPE AND I WILL GUARANTEE TO KILL THEM ALL, but yes, there is some good supes in this universe.... AND THEY'RE PURE SHIT!!!!".
Mjolnir destroyed a meteor in AGE OF ULTRON but Hela who’s not even strong enough to have muscle just destroyed it with no effort I thought that was dumb so I was wondering if they adapting anything or if it was just dumb
This is the bullshit I’ll be talking about. There’s no way he took two full blast and then they attempted to say he blocked one every time he speaks he shatters earth how the fuck are you taking that without the gauntlet fuck up shit
One of my most favorite Thanos centered comics. That Thanos took on Odin who is pretty much at cosmic being power levels, and even though Odin put a pounding on Thanos he still couldn't take him out. Granted I think there was no way Thanos could have won the fight if it had gone longer. Still it shows what a tough bad MF Thanos really is.
I'm glad they didn't completely scrap this character. Madelyn was great, but it would've been a shame to have James completely written off. Glad they made Stan Edgar to fill that void.
As wholesome as the team is in the story, I've always interpreted this as Garth Ennis saying "If you actually like superheroes, you've probably got learning difficulties"
I hate this comic for multiple reasons, but the Super Dupers arc its the most cringe thing I ever read. Even more than "The Pro", another of the 10 superhero parody comics that Ennis did to tell the world there is nothing more stupid than like Superhero comics, even if he almost mainly does Superhero comics.
I think the Super Duper team should make an appearance in next season of Gen V or the final season in The boys. To give Butcher make a choice after what happened in Season 4
